I need to run a 200' piece of CAT 5 outdoors up a rock face, and need to provide some protection from abrasion. I am concerned if this product will hold up in the sunlight.

I need to run some wiring underground. I will be running three no. 3 gauge wires and one no. 1 gauge wire. The wires are individual (they don't come bundled) and need to be run through conduit according to county code. I have a run of approximately 200 to 250 feet. Will this product work?

Connecting to Schedule 40 PVC conduit

Can this flexible conduit be directly connected to straight runs of schedule 40 PVC underground? The last 8' or so has a few bends. If so, can it be solvent-welded to the straight conduit, or is there a special connector required?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product for difficult areas Flexible but strong. Water tight when glued directly to electrical pvc. Aesthetically pleasing. May 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked great for outside socket I needed to install a 14-50 socket on the side of my house with a buried run along the edge of the house to a sub-panel. I measured out the length of the trench (50 feet) and laid that out straight on the lawn. I pulled the 6 gauge wires through the conduit while it was straight on the lawn and that was very easy. I then buried the conduit and didn't have to worry about number of bends or radius of bends since the wire was already in the conduit. Looks great. It's strong and sturdy and waterproof. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't use for long runs I purchased this planning to use it underground in a single run. That's not what this product is appropriate for - due to the ribbing there's no way to efficiently pull cable through more than about 25 feet at a time. For an underground situation, it's far easier - and much cheaper - to just purchase the 10ft straight segments. That said, this stuff would presumably work for short runs where you don't want to deal with piecing things together. I wouldn't use it anywhere where it could be seen tho - it looks a little goofy, like someone left out a hose. November 2, 2014
