Answer:
No, this cable is only good for a 30-amp branch circuit. A range will need at least a 40-amp circuit, and often a 50-amp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 50' 10/3 cable I am going to use this for a connection from a generator to my electrical panel when there is a power outage. It was recommended to me by an electrician who uses this type of cable for the same jobs he does for other people.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed I used this to wire a power inlet box to a transfer switch. It is pretty thick so it was not the easiest stuff to work with particularly when going around corners but overall it is a good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product, Good Value Bought this wire to complete a project hooking up my emergency generator to my home via a transfer switch. It was great that I was able to purchase it by the foot, only having to pay for what length I needed to do the hook up. Had no issues with the product at all. A bit on the expensive side, in my opinion, but still a better value than purchasing from an electrical supply company.
