Is Is this wire dual rated for thwn-2 as well?

Product description states "for dry or wet locations" but summary below states "no" for wet locations. Does this wire come with the dual thhn/thwn-2 rating which permits wet use?

Just to update - I contacted Southwire directly and was advised by Dave Watson, Sr. Applications Engineer, Electrical Division and he advised me, and I quote, "Yes- those THHN conductors carry multiple ratings including THWN. Yes - they can be used in wet locations." Sure enough, when the wire arrived they were clearly marked "10-19 CU THHN-THWN MTW-AWM BLACK". So,, they are suitable for wet location use Read More

Can I run this cable in a wet location / underground for a swimming pool?

Just wondering if it's rated for wet locations. According to the specifications chart THHN is not rated for wet locations. But in the description area it is. Yes, I'm planning to put it in conduit and buried 18''. I'm running a isolated 15 amp circuit from the fuse box to the pool pump 240' 10 strand THHN. The pump is 9.5 amps 115v.

Answer: 
Yes, it is rated for wet location use (THHN-THWN-2). Not rated for direct burial, but can be used in Conduit. This will support your application. You can get spec sheets for most of our products at Southwire.com under the product catalog page.
