Answer:
No. It is not listed for outdoor use. HD may not stock tracer wire however it can be ordered at the Pro Desk. Here is a link to underground tracer wire on the Southwire website: http://www.southwire.com/ProductCatalog/XTEInterfaceServlet?contentKey=prodcatsheetcond5 .

I am assuming the number 20 is the awg gauge. I am not a electrician so this why I am asking. I am trying to wire an old genie garage door opener and the original says 22 awg. I need at least 35 feet to hook up the other sensor. Thanks in advance

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for making a counterpoise! I am a ham radio operator and my HT needed a counterpoise to get out better. I was looking around and I found the bell wire. It fits all my needs, it's flexible, light weight, can be wrapped up for storage, won't give me a rf burn, and I can get out better! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to make a counterpoise, or looking for some lower gage insulated wire that is color coded. June 27, 2015
