The 24 in. S-153-ADA is a polished chrome slide bar perfect for any bathroom that requires height versatility for the showerhead. The slide bar's Hand-Held shower holder allows for the showerhead to smoothly glide up and down a 2 ft. vertical distance to accommodate various shower users. The 24 in. Slide bar/grab bar also meets the ANSI standard 250 lbs. pull-test for grab bars, with ADA lever handle for adjusting slide bar.

Hello Becca,
It is suppose to be tight so it stays in place. If you put your show head into the holder and use it as a lever and apply a little more force you should be able to adjust the angle.
