I'm NOT sure if the product even tells you or not, if it does I missed it on the label, but as with ANY liquid weed killer you should wait at least 48 hours minimum after using the stuff before you water your lawn, otherwise you'll just be diluting it to a point where it won't work or you'll just be washing it all away, even though it DOES say "Rain proof in one hour" on the front label. Hope that helps, Read More

Depends on your grass (maybe), all I know is that if you have a Southern lawn of Bermuda and/or St. Augustine, do NOT use this. It will destroy your grass.

I have tried MANY Liquid, Powdered and Pelletized products on my lawn and many others for well over 40 years now, Not a single of of them, NONE, work entirely, some only kill some weeds, some only kill some insects. The ONLY method that I have found to keep MY flower gardens and veggie gardens weed free is to put down a good, thick, strong weed block screening (not the thin cheap plastic stuff) and than cover that with at least 3 to 4 to even up to 5 inches of a good pine or bark mulch, the thicker you lay down a mulch the better chance you have of blocking weeds from growing, plus it helps keep your plants moist! I do still have to pick up as many polynodes (those "helicopters") that fall from any surrounding Maple trees as they can and will start growing right on top of the mulch.
And as far as keeping most bugs away I simply use a combination of Marigolds (Bees and some other flying pests dislike them) and I lightly dust once or twice per week with food-grade Diatomaceous Earth (yep, the pool filter stuff keeps many bugs and insects away).
Some bugs you actually DO want though, ladybugs/praying mantis and a few others are very beneficial for flowers and gardens as they eat the Aphids that can and do eat your plants!
Hope that helps you out!
Good Luck

This is a good product to choose for lawn weed control -- especially if you have trouble with crabgrass. It should not be used around trees and ornamentals, though -- for landscaped areas, you should remove weeds by hand or spot treat with a weed and grass killer, like Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer (follow all label directions for safe application, though, and treat very carefully -- weed and grass killers will kill anything green you spray). For insect control, Spectracide brand has one all-purpose lawn bug line that can be used on both lawns and landscapes: Spectracide Triazicide Insect Killer for Laws & Landscapes. It controls more than 250 types of insects and keeps killing nuisance pests up to 8 weeks. Good luck, and please let us know if we can help further. Read Less

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 62 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Maybe I Have "SPECIAL" Crabgrass, but this stuff didn'e even come close! Seems kind of absurd to have quality & value listed separately. I mean, if the product doesn't work, what's the good if it only costs a quarter? I chose 4 weeds (all the same) for a test drive. Not positive, but I think they are crabgrass in the early stage, almost flat to the ground, but with "tentacles" extending a few inches in all directions. I SOAKED all four yesterday, sprayed about 10 seconds on each one. From the looks of them today, I might just as well have used water. Speaking of price, though, I paid $13.95 at my local Home Depot for the EXACT size and product listed, so what's up with that? April 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works as advertised Works just like it is advertised and works wells. Very please with the results. May 14, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DOESN'T WORK i HAVE SPRAYED THIS PRODUCT ON THE WEEDED AREA OF MY GRAVEL SEVERAL TIMES AND IT ABSOLUTE DOES NOT WORK LIKE THE PRODUCT SAYS May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lived up to it's promise Over the years my yard has been the talk of the neighborhood. The kids have all grown & moved on so it is my yard that absorbs a lot of my free time. With that said, I have some clover creeping in & my normal weed & feed cycles just wasn't shutting the clover down. My oldest son put me onto this product & within two weeks after use, the clover all but disappeared. April 19, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by works well this spray worked well; however some of the stubborn weeds needed multiple treatments. May 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stick with Round-Up! I have an entire yard filled with all weeds and no grass. I waited a week after spraying and it didn't kill a single thing! Stick with round up! April 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weed killer One word to describe - Outstanding. Kills crabgrass and creeping speedwell. My yard was covered with both. Had to hit them twice but this stuff got the job done. April 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I like it. Using this product was very easy. Just popped out the nozzle and your good to go. But follow the instructions carefully so everything will go well. April 19, 2016
