Answer:
Depends on your grass (maybe), all I know is that if you have a Southern lawn of Bermuda and/or St. Augustine, do NOT use this. It will destroy your grass.

I did. It just made sense that the product would work better on freshly cut crab grass so your not wasting chemical on material your going to remove.

I am not sure what the instructions recommend, but I spray in between mowings so that I can see where the weeds and crabgrass is and spray directly where it needs it.

Answer:
You should apply atleast two days before you mow. This will allow you to easily spot and spray the weeds and it allows it to be absorbed into the plant.

I'm NOT sure if the product even tells you or not, if it does I missed it on the label, but as with ANY liquid weed killer you should wait at least 48 hours minimum after using the stuff before you water your lawn, otherwise you'll just be diluting it to a point where it won't work or you'll just be washing it all away, even though it DOES say "Rain proof in one hour" on the front label. Hope that helps, Read More

Answer:
I seeded a few days after the crabgrass died off and the new grass started popping a few days later. So in total I probably seeded 2 weeks (and a few waterings) after first application of this crab grass killer.

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 76 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Crab Grass no-more I can't compare its effectiveness to other crabgrass killer, but overall is seems to do an okay job. Where I've really saturated the area it killed the crabgrass and most of the adjacent grass. In areas where I've done a lighter application the grass fairs better, but the crabgrass doesn't die all the way. This is my third refill bottle on the one that comes with the pistol grip pump. Glad i went for the battery operated pump, well worth saving your hand on the manual pump. One thing I have noticed, it takes days, not hours to see results. So be patient. September 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not worth anyone's time or money I purchased this product instead of the RoundUp that I have been using and it did absolutely nothing. After2 weeks weeds and grasses around edge of yard have grown more instead of dying. I would not recommend to anyone or buy again., a waste of money and my time.. September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Killed my nut grass Need a good weed killer that also killed nut grass. Worked in 2 days September 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weedstop It works great! And it's nearly $2 cheaper than Lowe's. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works as well as... Works as well as Weed Be Gone. Slightly less expense September 1, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of Money I followed the directions but what I was "guaranteed" would work had little to no effect. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Only product on shelf that worked as advertised Okay, have been fighting clover weeds on my front lawn (fescue) for about 4 months. Have tried almost every product on your shelf - no results. Basically the entire gallon was used on a 3 x 3 foot area over a weeks time with more than 1 product. Spectracide promised visible results in as little as 3 hours. I was skeptical, but applied generous amounts on the weeds. Sure enough a couple of hours later you could see discoloration on the weeds. Applied an additional couple of times and 2 days later I'd say the weeds are completely dead. I actually have more than 3/4's of the gallon left for future use. Michael - Brea, CA May 31, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Weed killer This product seems to work well for me, No real complaints. August 17, 2016
