You have to be very careful thinking that these evil creatures will die upon contact with the product. They WILL NOT… As the product dried, they all flew right back and kept on eating and flying around… I never saw one wasp on the ground where I had sprayed…Be ready to RUN like Forrest Gump because they will try to dive bomb your face in an instant! Ill definitely spend a little more and buy the other brands. Funny thing.. I had 1 left of the other brand BUT thought this might do the trick too… Nope.. I was highly mistaken! Bee Careful!!! lol

This was a dissapointment because many of the wasp weren't killed. Some cases it worked but it was hit or miss and i got stung 2 times because of this poor product. When sprayed this covered the wasp like a foam. I've used other products that when sprayed the wasp died upon contact but not this product.

This spray worked on wasps after spraying the nest twice, but never did kill a yellow jacket after multiple sprays. Might be I bought the wrong spray, but I won't try it again. It was very handy being delivered to my house, saving me a hour drive time.

This year a wide variety of wasps and hornets were determined to build nests on my front porch. I needed an insecticide that would kill the bugs without putting me in harms way. Spectracide Wasp and Hornet Killer did the trick for me, but it did not kill all the insects on contact. It did, however, spray out far enough so that I could target the nests without having to be too close. I had to apply the spray two days in a row in order to completely eliminate the problem. I am satisfied with the outcome, but I am not sure that this product is better than any other insecticide spray.

Either I have superbees in my yard, or this stuff is not strong enough. I swear they are laughing at me when I spray them with this stuff, Maybe a few buzz around irritated a bit, but haven't seen any dead ones. Nest is still there, just as much worker bee to and fro as before I drenched the whole area several times. I guess it's probably safe for the environment - about as harmful as foamy water.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Paul Did the required job
The wasp spray did the required job. The wasps were immediately unable to fly and their death seemed to take just a minute. I did wait the required 24 hours before removing the nest per the directions and noted that the wasps returning to the nest had also died.
The only thing that I found dissapointing was the distance of the spray. Some other products have a longer spray distance. It required me to use a ladder to reach the higher nest positions which could have been dangerous if the spray did not immediately work.

I bought this spray because it is specifically for wasps and hornets and because it claims to spray a long stream thereby making it a little safer to spray a nest from a distance. However, this can does not spray a stream anywhere close to 27 ft. This product sprays messy foam wide and close and gets all over the arm this is spraying. A can of hair spray works better than this aerosol spray. I do not recommend this product at all. I have since found that the safest way to spray into a wasp nest is to use a hand pump sprayer with a long nozzle and fill the sprayer with a liquid insecticide.
