Product Overview

Enjoy a beautiful weed-free lawn with the Spectracide 32 oz. Weed Stop Concentrate for Lawns. It kills tough weeds, and it delivers results in just hours. Use it on most lawn types, including Bermuda Grass, Bent Grass, Centipede Grass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Fescue and Zoysia Grass. If certain tough weeds are not dead within three weeks, repeat treatment. Broadcast application is not necessary; follow spot treatment directions. Use of this product when air temperatures are below 60F may result in delayed appearance of weed control. Do not water within six hours of treatment. Poor weed control may result if rainfall occurs within six hours of application. For best results, mow lawn before treating weeds.

  • Covers up to 16,000 sq. ft.
  • Just attach to a garden hose
  • Fast-acting formula delivers results you can see in hours
  • Won't harm lawns

Answer:
It varies with the type of weeds you are trying to kill, and the kind of soil that you have. Once may be enough, or you might have to go over the space a second time....but this stuff works!

Answer:
For best results, you should mow before you spray. There is no waiting period to mow afterward; you can mow as usual.

Answer:
No, it won't control goosegrass (or annual bluegrass). You'll need to spot treat with Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer instead, being very careful to treat only the weeds you want to control. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Spectracide-128-oz-Ready-to-Use-Weed-and-Grass-Killer-HG-96017-1/203166182

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 81 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Aweome product! This product did exactly as it advertised, and I am thrilled with the results! July 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not kill crabgrass I sprayed a good amount of this product on my crabgrass. Two weeks later the same crabgrass is still there. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spectra use 32 oz. by pal al I am very well pleased with using this product and I am very satisfied with the end result. Spraying the weed killer on my grass with the garden hose once in spring has kept my lawn weed free into July. I am sure that it will last all summer. This is worth the money! July 5, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by took care of half of the weeds Only killed half the weed. We Will need a second application. June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Still regretting the purchase!! My lawn used to be the ENVY of the neighborhood. Then I decided to use this product. It killed my lawn in 75% of the yard. The sad thing is that now the lawn has thinned out and the WEEDS of course are back three weeks after the application and stronger than ever. Simple things as Dollar-weed (normally controlled by any weed control) are proliferating all over along with ones initially killed by the treatment and are now making a come back. I am now left with the dilemma of not being able to apply anything else because of the week state of my lawn and the weeds are having a field day on my yard. Stay Away From This Product!!! I should have used Bayer as I have before with good results. Let my self be lured by the low price, BIG MISTAKE. And of course, their only guaranty is to return your lousy $7.00. My lawn is ruined and it will cost more than that to replace. Never again will I buy a product from Spectracide!! Hope this review saves someone the same problems I have had. November 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Weed control Knocks out most all weeds and pretty quick too. Used it for the past 2 years June 14, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Killed my grass and the weeds came back I sprayed it on a few spots in my yard where I had weed problems. Big mistake! see photos... October 18, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not work as advertised Purchased this product in February 2016 and applied to my lawn as described on bottle's label. Two months later I am witnessing 60 - 70% of the grass is burnt. I knew that excess application of this product may harm the grass, and for this very reason, I was very methodical when I applied the product. Yet the result is burnt-up grass. Moreover, the weeds are back in full bloom after showing some sign of reduction initially. I am sure the intent of the manufacturer is good, but there has to be a better way to apply this product without ruining ones grass. April 12, 2016
