Answer:
I believe this can be sprayed into a light fixture since it is a foam. Spray too much and it will drip but a little at a time will work best

Hi r1dragon,

The termites that you see have become lost and will die from exposure to sunlight.
Termites cannot tolerate exposure to sunlight. They also need to return to groundwater every 24 hours.
Termite control is only possible if you create a barrier between the soil and the wood that they consume.
This Spectracide product is not intended to form a barrier. It will kill termites on contact, but will not significantly prevent termites in the future.
Find where they are entering your home from the soil and apply a chemical or physical barrier that claims to prevent termites at that point.
Thanks for asking.

Answer:
Hi Rick,
Keep animals and people away from the affected area until the product has dried to the touch.
Since termites rarely show themselves, the termite killing foam is more efficiently applied into cracks and crevises and not so much onto outer surfaces.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 34 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Foam with Controlled application in tight spots or behind walls After a wet September our home, already under the water plate, exploded with termites. When a fake hardwood floor had to be pulled up in a room, I researched products to prevent termites from going up the walls. After I pulled up the floor boards and pulled out the molding I used a termite spray and this foam. The foam expanded in gaps around the door where I had seen wood shavings a week after my initial cleanup. This prevented me from having to take off a few inches on the bottom of the wall and door molding, except in one spot. The FOAM expands quickly. The small straw worked to push it into the gaps in doorways and under the molding. The last bit of foam did not expand. The bottom of the bottle there is waste, even with a good shaking. I read reviews before I purchased this product! December 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good prod. Product was easy to use. good value A lot for your money April 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Worth the money! "KILLS ON CONTACT" printed on front of can. I sprayed in a hole and 2 carpenter bees came out saturated with the foam. They hung onto the beam a few minutes until their wings dried and just flew away and never thanked me for the shower. LOL April 21, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Much cheaper than an exterminator service and it works just fine Spray in cracks and let it foam it really works to eliminate the sign of termites. . I sprayed two times within 45 days and haven't seen a trace of the critters since. December 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good stuff Was taking down an old barn that was being held up by termites holding hands. Squirted this stuff all around the boards and watched termites literally falling to the ground dead. quality stuff. October 7, 2015
