Answer:
I would not recommend using this on St. Augustine grass. All it did was kill my all my grass where it was used. The weeds are still thriving.

Answer:
Hey john in pharr, tx.
Floratam can tolerate this herbicide (atrazine) only when temperatures are below 85 degrees. Read the lable as there are several rules and recommendations. Do not apply more than 1 time per year and best sprayed when grass is partially dormant and so on.

The label says do not use above 90 degrees. Can I use it late in the evening just before sundown, when the temp is around 85, 86, 87, even though the temp will be above 90 the next day?

Answer:
No, you should wait until daytime temperatures are a little cooler. If you spray this product in very hot weather, lawn damage is likely.

Answer:
This spray is just for use on the lawn. You shouldn't spray on garden areas at all because it can damage plants and shrubs. While there are no restrictions on seeding listed grasses, you shouldn't replant treated areas with anything else within 12 months of application.

Rated 2.4 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Home Depot Associate helped me decide which weed killer to use on my Florida St Augustine grass. Grass is heathy August 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Did not do as promised Came highly recommended by the clerk but, did as per instructions and it did not kill anything. As a matter of fact, it actually did damage to my st. Agustin. July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by ineffective on pennywort, clover This product promised much but doesn't deliver. It is ineffective on pennywort, clover, etc on my St.Augustine lawn. I don't recommend it. At least it doesn't kill the grass. May 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Burns your lawn This product was empty in less than 5 minutes. Called Spectracide & they refunded my money. Burned the lawn & some of the weeds. Have Bluegrass & this product states it will take call of it. Bought another bottle & same thing. Less than 5 minutes bottle was empty. Called Spectracide again to inform them it happened again & what were they going to do about my burned grass. A David Marsh called a few weeks later & asked to submit pictures. I fighting with him now because the pictures I sent of my lawn he says his product couldn't have caused that kind of damage. May 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't buy This product did not kill the dollar week like it claims it will do. I put it on heavy and it still didn't work. March 29, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No results after use I used this product on my st augustine (palmettto) lawn which is being overtaken by clover and dollar weed. I used one bottle on my front lawn and one on my back lawn. For as little of area covered this product is rather expensive. They say each bottle will cover 3700 sq feet of lawn. There have been no noticeable results since use. The dollar weed is still green and healthy and the clover looks great too and is growing as fast as ever. I am very dissapointed with the product. March 5, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Its Okay This works great on st. augustine lawn. It killed dove weed, chamberbitter, and spurge weed. I am not sure about dandelions. One important thing about this product is the bottle/container it comes in. The liquid inside the container is completely gone after 5-10 minutes. This covers less than 1000 Sq. ft. The product claims to cover 3,720 sq. ft., but that is completely wrong. This weed killer works, but the design of the bottle is garbage b/c it dispenses too much at a time. If i bought this again, i would put the liquid in another RTS container. September 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weed Killer Kills all weeds associated with centipede grass..... Highly recommend August 4, 2015
