Re: Speedi-Products 2 in. White Round Soffit Vent
Fits perfectly in the holes I created in the door with a 2" circular drill saw. I used four of these (which came in a low cost package) to provide the ventilation required to preclude potential oxygen-depletion caused shutoff of the thermostatically controlled propane run icehouse heater I placed in our pumphouse as a backup for the electric heater which is set low to keep the pipes from freezing, in case there's a prolonged electricity outage when the outside temperature is below freezing.
I placed an easily removable flat magnetic-strip house heater-vent cover over the holes on the inside of the door to keep the vent closed under 'normal' conditions, when the propane heater wasn't being used.

Simply use a hole saw to cut a hole, put some caulking on the vent, push it in, wipe off excess caulk. Done!
The only thing that would make these better is if they were friction-fit.

Easy to install with holesaw bit. Two dabs of silicone sealant secure the vent in place. Unobtrusive; hides in plain sight.

The product is just as described. Filled a hole from removed conduit in existing soffit perfectly.

Good value for a retrofit, if you're not changing the soffit to perforated. Drill with a hole saw and I recommend a bead of color matched solar seal brand caulk under the lip to permanently hold them up. Not much of that type of caulk is required to make sure it won't come down.

Vents are lightweight and very easy to install on whiteboard by using a 2" keyhole drill. Work well when installed on soffit ends in ventilating soffit.

What's to say? It's white, it's round, it's 2 in diameter and fits the hole in the soffit left by the squirrel or crow or whatever carried off the old soffit vent.

I installed 3 of these in every other 2 foot section of my eaves. Created a template from cardboard to mark the center of each round vent. Used a 2" hole saw. The 2" hole then seemed a tad too wide resulting in a somewhat loose fit. So I wrapped masking tape around the soffit flange 3-4 times for a snug fit. Seems to help with attic heat - the attic fan comes on much later than it used to.
