does the rateinf of 2000lbs mean it can carry a load of 2000 lbs?

No it does not mean that. GVWR is the weight of the trailer AND the total allowable cargo weight. This trailer can carry 1420 lbs and weighs 580 lbs.

Is there another wiring harness needed? The supplied one does not go all the way up the tongue.

Example: I have looked at the manual and can't figure out what I did wrong.

Delivery of Trailer

Can I order the Trailer and have it delivered.or have it shipped to the Warrenton Store as it is disassembled what are the assembly requirements

It comes on a big pallet and you get curbside service. Have help when it arrives and it will be easier to unload. I had the pallet taken apart and unloaded piece by piece. It will take one person about 4 hours to put together, but less with help and some standard tools. See the video and the reviews for more information.

what is the speed rating

I bought mine and have had no problems at highway speeds on highways. Caution should be taken on off highways as any vehicle pulling a trailer is harder to control off roads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Trailer for the Price! If you are willing to put a little work into building a trailer, this is a good buy! Instructions could be a little better but you can work through them. Had to take off pallet to unload. I have a Polaris 500 and a quad that fit perfect sideways with room to spare. I like the ground clearance of the trailer for backwoods travel or snow. Loading is a little steep with the ramps. The ramps store up front so you don't have to worry about hauling them. Trailer pulls very well also with a long tonge for spare tire. I called the company and ordered a spare and installed a roller jack for ease of use. Strong enough, but light enough to push around to fit beside drive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Trialer Trailer is much more substantial than most utility trailers I've used. Sits pretty high off the ground so ground clearance is really good. I assembled it in about 4 hours with my 12 year old. There is a You Tube video that helps in addition to the instructions. Also, found lots of nice little extra details. The gate pins have notches to hold them open. The coupler chains have springs on the S hooks so they wont come off in transit. Also the coupler has a pin for the handle lock to keep it from opening. Also pretty easy to load and unload the ATV's. The ramps are substantial and sturdy and long enough so your not at too much angle. The ATV's fit just right. There is about 73"-74" between the rails. A Honda Rancher and Kawasaki Prairie 360 fit just barely. Lastly, added bonus if you have a pickup you can use the included ramps to go from the bed of the pickup to the trailer and load a third ATV in the bed of the truck or to leave room in the trailer for something else. The only negative was the thing takes a beating during shipping. The main box is really heavy and gets banged up. Don't be too surprised if you have to straighten a couple of bent parts, or find some scratched paint. Lessons learned when assembling the trailer. 1. Use four 5 gallons buckets to support it before you flip it over. Its just the right height. 2. Leave the fender and tail light off the side your going to flip it towards and install after you flip it. 3. Buy some bearing grease. Each wheel takes almost a full tube (small grease gun size). 4. Make sure you get the wire colors to the correct side before flipping the trailer. 5. Lights have a neutral and don't need to be grounded to the frame per the instructions. Just connect all the wires and match like colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great trailer Exactly what I was looking for in a trailer. I was looking for a smaller trailer that can carry two quads. This trailer easily carries two full size quads. Easy load and unload from the side or back. Easy assembly. Kit was missing a few cotter pins, but they were easily obtainable through local hardware store. I tow it, fully loaded, behind my Jeep Wrangler effortlessly. I would recommend watching the 3 YouTube videos for assembly instructions. Good quality LED trailer lights also included. I added a front trailer wheel and spare tire. This is a very efficient, multi-use trailer. 2000 lb carry capacity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice trailer for the price Bought this trailer to haul stuff around our property but also wanted to be able to haul a riding mower and ATV. I ended up getting more than I was expecting, the trailer is very nice though not Heavy Duty it is a good medium duty trailer. I am 66 years old and I put this together by myself in about 5 hours. It is heavy so I had to use caution when I turned it over, but no problems. The instructions were not great but sufficient. The boxes were a little beat up but that is not the manufacturers fault although the skid could have been a little sturdier. The drop tailgate and the ramps were a nice bonus, tows very well and easy to move around by hand. Overall a very good buy in my opinion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the price Easy to assemble, not all parts matched up as they should, get a can of primer and black spray paint because you will need to paint the scratched areas (I used a half can of primer and a full can of black). The trailer hold (2) 2014 Polaris 400 H.O.'s (full size) 700 lbs. ea. with no problem. Towed at 65 mph with no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the money, trailer is great for dirt bikes. For reference, I was looking for a trailer to haul 2 dirtbikes. The 5x9 size seemed good, the tailgate ramp was good, fixed side rails seemed good. I didnt need the side load ramps but this seemed like a bonus. The trailer shipped in multiple boxes plus a huge pallet (10' long x 6' wide) to my work location. I picked work instead of home as we have a truck dock and guys to help unload. Note when it arrived the pallet was on its side and the driver was trying to right it in the trailer and it was a bit of a fiasco. Ultimately the guys unloading it just unbanded the big items from the pallet and pulled each item from the truck piece by piece. I suppose had it been delivered to my house the same thing would have had to have been done. There is no getting around you are buying a 5x9 trailer and there is a lot of metal involved. Ask for help. Once unloaded my son (12 years old) and I put it together in just over 4 hours. Very straightforward to build. But.... they note you need to guys and that is correct when, about 25% into the build, you have to flip the entire assembly right side up. You need 2 adults to do that portion; too heavy and awkward for 1 adult + 1 kid, so I used a forklift and strap. So, 2 adults are required for that step or 1 adult and some ingenuity. The instructions I felt were excellent. Good diagrams and well written. Most tools needed I already had. The crown nut on the end of the axle takes a very large socket, had to go buy one. The hub takes a lot of grease to fill. I dont have experience filling a bearing first time, it was probably typical. No actual issues building it. Electric was easy, worked first time. I subsequently contacted Northstar and purchased motorcycle wheel chocks direct from them, mounted up very easily as well (there are (4) retained nuts on the trailer deck that align perfectly with the Northstar wheel chocks I bought). I used the trailer first time last weekend to haul 1 dirtbike. No issues, all worked great, the ramp was perfect. The rails and rail ends were good locations for tie downs to hook. Everything stayed very secure. The expanded metal decking is a little flimsy, it will deflect some if you step on it midpoint between 2 supports, but works OK. I had thought of bolting a 4x8 board on top but I think I will keep it as is. I did go online elsewhere to purchase a spare has a handy location on the front to mount it. Registration in IL was no issue. I have 2 larger motorcycles (sport bike and vintage cruiser) that I have not tried to put on the trailer so I dont know how it will handle heavier bikes, but it is perfect for the dirt bike hauling I intend. Really, very pleased with this trailer. Excellent value for the price paid. I highly recommend it.
