Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Debbs failed to work the first time
followed easy instructions included - new tank of propane - it started right up
It died after 1 minute and never started again -called the 800 number on it
The told me first to put starting fluid in it - then on to instructions for small disassemble repair - I said maybe I should just take it back due to these complications - they said have a nice day and hung up
maybe they're good generators maybe not - I guess I won't know

I bought this generator for emergency power for a refrigerator and a sump pump. It arrived quickly, was easy to unpack, and had clear instructions. I like the propane fuel since it I expect to need this less than once per year. Gasoline needs to be drained after use, stored with a stabilizer and can spill. I tested the generator by starting it (4 pulls), connecting the refrigerator using an extension cord and running it for an hour. It is now packed away awaiting an emergency. It is a bit noisier than I expected.

2000 watts. Maybe, but the 1350 watts is what you need to be aware of. Any sustained high power demand will bog down the generator to the point where it doesn't have enough RPM to ensure it's own engine's ignition. It isn't a car, so there's no battery for spark, like a lawnmower. Just stating the obvious.
So if you hear it slow way down, remove the electrical load immediately. This didn't damage mine when I didn't remove it quickly enough, but I had to wait 15 minutes before it would restart.
I.e., it won't power your RV microwave or AC. But it handles anything less with ease.
Noise level is measured from a distance. The hint is, use an extension cord and place the generator as far away as possible. It's not a Honda and I didn't pay Honda prices, so not really down checking for this. It's not bad.
Light power use gives remarkable fuel consumption, much better than the half-max-load rating. I could have run it overnight for 3~4 nights on one standard swap tank.
Starting is easy. The Help Line people suggest longer warmup time at 1/2 choke than the instructions suggest.
Honestly, what's not to love? It's a little noisy, so get an extension cord. No gasoline = no storage maintenance, reduced carbon monoxide, and fuel that doesn't go bad. Wow. Oh yeah, I'm old enough for Social Security and had no problem lifting.
By the way, I don't think you can chain these together for higher loads. It ain't a Honda, but I paid 75% less. So there.

I have bought both the gasoline and popane versions of this generator for use in my work. The propane model had to be started with a cordless hand drill because the entire pully assembly broke. The gasoline model's generator dropped to about 90 volts AC after a few months' use. I have wasted so much time and money on generators of varous makes and models that I am now using solar panels in series to produce from 20 to 40v DC (depending upon sunlight) and stepping that down to 12v DC using a transformer. It apears to me that most generators are made by very few OEM suppliers from China (even B&S) and that the quality is about as bad as it gets. I've gone solid state and have no plans to change back.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sjl Best generator ever!
This generator was easy to carry, set up, and start. Using the propane as a fuel source sure beats spilling gasoline. Seemed very efficient fuel wise. The only part on the generator that was hot after running it for several hours was the exhaust.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by CLB Not a very Reliable Model
When I received this unit it would not start so I call the 800 number and they were not helpful. I discovered on my own that the choke butterfly valve was interfering with the air cleaner filter and not opening up all of the way. I fixed and the unit worked good the first time I used it. The second time I used it one of the internal control panel components fried (I think it was a capacitor). The engine continued to run fine, but the generator was not putting out any electricity.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by CDGROUP Light use with a small camper.
Purchased this in Dec 2014 to use with my small camper that has a 5000 BTU A/C and small microwave. The A/C would be marginal since it will pull about 1800 Watts by itself -if pulling all it can. Unfortunately, the 2000 Watt is only a peak number- the 1350 Watt is the continuous number. It will not run the A/C. The Microwave runs great. So, all in all, it performs like is says.
I have mounted it on the tongue of my trailer- so I'll get a feel for it's durability.
Two things- it's a very good price for a generator and perfect for a trailer since it runs on LP.

This generator has been the most valuable tool in our arsenal for barn demolition and salvage. We could not operate without it. ---picture to follow
