Customer Questions & Answers

will it run a 5000btu AC

Asked by: Bobster
It wouldn't run my new Frigidaire 5000 BTU 600 watt A/C, my new 120 watt mini fridge, and four new 14 watt CFL bulbs at my hunting camp. total running load was less than 800 watts so even at starting load for the A/C and mini fridge it should have ran it all easily.

What will it run?

Will it run a house gas heating system (the fans that blows the hot air around)? Will it run a typical (not huge) refrig-freezer? Is the AC clean enough to power a desktop computer? What types of devices will it not run? Thanks.
