Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good pump I bought this pump to provide water to my gold prospecting equipment. It is more pump than I needed but the price was right. Very easy starting and operating, and most of the time it pumped all the water that I needed at or just above idle speed. January 4, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This product was on sale for a great price As advertised. Moves water quickly. Definitely a must have for the low country. I sleep better knowing I have a way to move 1000s of gallons of water away from my house. May 13, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mixed bag so far I got this pump to drain our back yard when it gets flooded in heavy rain storms. Yesterday it flooded, so I set up the pump, only to find that the clamps it came with don't fit the hoses it uses. So whenever it would start to pump water, the hoses would pop off. So the jury is still out. The pump was easy to start, but the directions were a little spotty. There were instructions for using the choke after starting, but no illustration of the choke or which direction was closed and which was open. And I have a few parts that are not mentioned or described, so I have no idea what they are. June 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Light-weight, effective pump I recommend this pump to anyone who needs to move water and doesn't want to hire a crew to do it. We use the TWPUMP pump to move water from our creek to our watering basins [ponds] on a protected habitat for endangered species. It is slow, but steady, and its light weight means any of us can handle the project. It is easy to move from place to place, and does not require a truck or other vehicle. Its speed reduces its impact on the environment also. The noise is not excessive. Set up, fueling, and changing oil is relatively easy. The filter works well, and it's easy to check and clear. I much prefer it to the rental pumps we used previously. June 12, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wouldn't stay running The price was right, and was easy to get set up, but it wouldn't stay running. Read / followed all instructions closely, and even called them to discuss before returning to the store. Despite the price, it was a waste of time and effort. On three uses over a couple weeks, I got it to run a couple times for 10-15 minutes. Upon restart, and occasional cold start attempt, it was many, many pulls to marginal or no success. I'll spend more next time on another brand. April 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked quite well Once got the feel of it and primed it with water it worked quite well. Very good for the cost. Quite happy with it July 14, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your time! Bought this pump because it was cheap. It ran ok the 1st time. The 2nd time we ran it it would only run for 15 minutes at a time. Took it back. Guess it's true, you get what you pay for. June 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product with a few flaws Purchased pump on line, the info said it was a 5.5 hp on the engine it shows that it is a 7hp. Start easy and good flow, great for pumping down my pond. The only thing is it does not want to go thru two tanks of gas without shutting down because it is hot. The other problem is where the discharge hose and the exhaust are located, to close together, if you are not paying attention you could melt the hose if it gets close to the muffler, I plan on turning the discharge 180% so it is away from the heat. The muffler is also to close to the handle have to be careful not to burn yourself picking it up right after use. June 20, 2013
