I've had this greenhouse for 2 seasons now. It worked out well for this time, but now I notice all the elastic bungee ties have fallen apart and 3 of the 4 zippers are either stuck or separating and cant open. Of course you can buy replacement parts from the manufacturer but I don't like planned obsolence. If you get one, don't plan on using it more than a year or two. I live in a very mild climate so the problems are due to the sun, not ice or snow etc.

This is an excellent greenhouse for people who want to set up for the winter only, though we're planning to use it year-round. The sides are soft, and I'm not really too sure how long it will last if not cared for, and exposed to Sun all year? But, at the price, it might be worth buying a new one every 5 years!
I don't think it's possible to find a better backyard greenhouse for this amount of money. We got the 8x10 unit, after seeing the smaller (6x8..I think?) unit that a neighbor had. The 8' height really makes the place seem huge!
The frame is very solid, well designed, and was easy to instal. Two people can put up the entire greenhouse in less than an hour. The holes matched up, and we had no problems understanding the directions (mostly pictures).
I rated it "almost excellent" because I don't really care for the zipper doors, and I wish it had a higher vent than just the side windows. Something over the doors would have been nice. I will probably mount up a small fan with some ducting, to draw the upper heat down and out the side windows. I won't be using the rear doorway, so the zipper there is fine, but I decided to keep the front doorway open, and build a wooden screen door that fits in the opening. Yes, I put a few holes in it, to attach it to the wooden frame, but it worked well, and should keep us bug free (or at least we'll have less of them). This wooden frame is held in place with ty-wraps, so the entire greenhouse can be take down in less than an hour, and be put up again next year, if that is what we want to do.
Another drawback is the little metal stakes that they give you. We decided to put pavers inside our unit, and I had the base pads on the (6) poles on the pavers, so the stakes wouldn't work. I was able to guy some mobile home stakes from HD, and put those just outside the frame, and then use ratchet type hold down straps that attach to fittings on the greenhouse, to hold it down. (I really feel that it would blow away in a strong wind if only the 6" stakes were used...but don't know that for a fact.)
The final drawback, and again, something that is fixable, is that the frame has no brackets between the two sides...which means that the bottom of the poles can move inward or outward. I bought a piece of angle Aluminum at HD for about $18, and bolted it to the back two poles, and it's much more rigid. I would have done the same at the front, but made the doorway frame out of 2x4s, which took care of that.
The fabric/plastic material appears to be quite strong, and I hope that it is UV resistant. It is well made....fitting over the frame without any problems. There is enough extra at the bottoms that you can place bricks along the base to help hold the fabric in place too.
Zipper at windows and the velcro straps that are used to hold them are designed well, and work as designed.
Over all, we love this greenhouse. I do hope that Spring Gardener offers the ability to purchase new covers in a few years.....and I'm wondering if the bungee cord holding system will last more than a few years too, and if they sell replacements (but, they can be replace with twine if needed, and at about $350, I wouldn't feel too bad, if I had to replace the entire unit in 5-10 years.
Well worth the money.....and ALMOST "Excellent"!

Rated 5 out of 5 I love this greenhouse!
This is my second Spring Gardener greenhouse. The first only destroyed by a teething 60-pound puppy who chewed up the door. I ordered a more expensive model by a different company as a replacement and it didn't last one hail storm. I ended up using the expensive frame and my original Spring Gardener cover as a makeshift greenhouse for a couple of years. I was excited to finally find another Spring Gardener since it had been 7 years since my original purchase. The plastic webbing inside of the Spring Gardener greenhouse makes it superior to just about any other greenhouse I have seen under $1000. I put it up on my patio and with a little heater and it works great. I put up my greenhouse by myself and it only takes me about an hour. I think it is very easy to put up and take down. I highly recommend this one to anyone who wants a part-time greenhouse!!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by breadlady if only the windows....
We are happy with the quality of the frame and plastic covering. Seems to be very durable and I like the size. it went together fairly well. My one complaint is that the window flap does not line up with the window opening so the velcro does nor meet properly so therefore the windows do not close. This is going to be a problem real soon when we experience our first cold nights. It will also be a problem in the spring when I am getting plants started. Have you any suggestions for me? The windows seem to be poorly sewn.
