7-Spray Filtered Handshower in Chrome is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Handheld Shower Head I needed new shower heads because the old ones were scaled up. I picked up two of the HE7 because of the price ($39.88 each) and wanted to see if KDF really took out the chlorine. To my surprise, the 6 foot hose is wrapped in REAL metal, something I did not expect at this price! The old Pollenex had chrome colored tape wrapped aroung black plastic for a "metal look". The pulsing massage is better than the old shower, but slightly smaller stream because of the 2.5 GPM, but works very well. The large head with inner and outer shower "covers you completely" in a "gentle rain". The center of the head is 15" from the wall with a standard 4" long angeled shower fitting. Almost 18" from wall to end of shower head. My youngest said she likes how far out the head is because she did not run into the bathtub spout anymore. My son used the spray mist setting to cool down after being outside on a very warm day. That could come in handy if you are sunburned! My only complaint, no instructions. On the first shower I put the hex nut end of the hose on the shower head and it would not sit in the open hanger slot in the adapter. The Tapered nut goes onto the shower head, Tapered nut fits into to adapter hanger slot, and the hex nut to the threaded output of the adapter. There are flats on the tapered nut and adapter nut to angled wall fiting. I used a good cresent wrench to tighten the fitting. All the female fittings have rubber gaskets, so you will not need teflon tape, but I still put teflon on the shower angled fitting because I did not want any leaks with hot water from a full size pipe to a restrictor on the shower head. The KDF does really remove the chlorine and your skin feels smoother and hair much fuller when it dries. It just never dawned on me that the sticky feeling you get when getting out of a chlorinated pool was what was on my skin when I came out of the shower (but just less). I would recommend this hand held shower head on the quality of construction and distance from the wall alone! I went to the Sprite Showers website and found out that you are supposed to flip over the filter once a month to six weeks and lubricate the o-ring with petrolium jelly or vasoline. While doing research on KDF, I found out that it is recommended to back flush the KDF, flipping the cartridge filter does this. If the KDF media has turned black, it is used up and you will have to replace the cartridge. The replacement Cartridge is HHC, the 2 pack is HHC-2 and the 4 pack is HHC-4. I found on line that some sellers do free shipping on the 4 pack. FYI. To remove cartridge, the head and handle have a bayonet style fitting, turn the handle or head one-quarter turn and pull off handle. Flip the cartridge, lubricate, and reverse process to re-engage locking tab by turning head in opposite direction. If you do care about the KDF, after you have used it up and the media has turned black. Drill a large hole through both ends of the cartridge, wash out the used media, reinstall in shower head and use if as a standard shower head.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My hair feels soft I'm very surprised. My hair feels really soft after the first shower and second one too. I didn't expect it and am pleasantly pleased. I bought this for the extra long hose to be able to use it to bathe my miniature poodle (a medium sized poodle.) This description says it's 72" or 6 feet long instead of the usual 5 foot long hose on other models. I got a special one in the store of Home Depot that is this model with an 80" hose. Oddly, I bought this hand held model for the long hose to use on my dog but, I love it for myself. My skin wasn't as dry after getting out of the shower. I live in Boulder CO where we supposedly have good tap water. I was surprised that this filter made my hair feel so soft. This filter really strips the chlorine out of the water.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome product! We moved to an area with very hard water, limestone and lots of chlorine. I have long color treated hair, and the water made my hair feel like straw, it was actually breaking off after 5 months with the hard water. With the first use of this filtering shower head I could tell a huge difference! My hair didn't feel like straw after rinsing out shampoo and was not weighed down and frizzy after drying! My skin also felt better! My only concern is the longevity of the plastic piece that actually holds the shower head, it should really be metal. Otherwise, great product, easy to install, my hair and skin feel great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Nice Heavy Duty Unit. I purchased this Sprite 7-Spray Filtered Hand Shower in Chrome to replace a Broken five year old 5-Spray Filtered Hand Shower on well water. Since they use the same filter cartridges I can continue to use my old stock of Sprite's HHC Filters to remove chlorine, sediment and minerals from the our shower spray. The 7 inch diameter shower head and handle feels heavy for being made mostly from chromed plastic. Even with the replaceable HHC filter removed from the handle. A cool feature about the filters is they can be recycled in your garden and through your local blue bag centers for plastic. The 6 foot flexible rubber wrap metal hose speaks heavy duty land long term use compared to the cheap plastic look a-likes that can be found on other units. Overall construction of the unit looks to be well made and Heavy Duty. A Couple of draw back is how the handle attaches to the shower head. Which the head is attached to the handle by two grooved notches and wings, instead of being screwed together. Since one must access this part to remove and replace the filters approx every 3-6 months. I can see my gorilla grip breaking the wings off, which I did have to use to dissemble the unit to due an initial inspection of the unit. Also, a simple swivel adapter would have been nice for the plastic shower head holder that attaches to the wall spigot. My last annoyance is the lack of filter availability at local stores. You can find every other filter but the Sprite HHC. One must order online for replacement HHC filters instead of finding them at our local Home Depot the sells this unit off the shelf.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Awesome shower handle the "power wash" setting is worth the $ by itself, works well can't really tell if it filters the water because NYC water was already great. 2 downsides, 1 it's heavy b/c it's got a filter in it, 2 the attachment to the pipe is not adjustable cannot move it around like others, I bought a 5$ white one that is adjustable works well but not perfect fit like oem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Has potential Great construction, really easy to install, the BIG problem. The 'Euro Style' bracket does not hold the Shower handle in place, nor will it bend to adjust to a down angle for an overhead spray without falling free. This makes it impossible to use hands free. As another interviewer advises, it would work well as an add on for a bath tub, and I will attest, try finding a combo bath spigot and shower adapter for it.
