My doctor recommended this filtered showerhead as a way to help ease or eradicate my eczema. It's not completely gone but there is a HUGE improvement and overall skin and hair are softer. It was very easy to install and also a great value (affordable and effective). Definitely recommend!

The showerhead works fine, but I would prefer a bit more coverage and force of water.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Gigi Well, if you don't have hard well water, this might work
I have researched water filtration systems and shower head filters quite a bit. Before trying this filter I used Aquasana's Shower Filters. When we had city water, the Aquasana filters would last about 8 months. We moved to a new house with well water. We have pretty high mineral content - especially iron. The Aquasana filters lasted about 4 months. I was so exasperated by Aquasana's lack of customer service - like after 4 requests of address update still sending our filters to the wrong house. It took 4+ tries to get filters delivered to the correct address. Then, finally, rejecting delivery of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th delivery... OH MY!! I could NOT deal with them any longer. I tried this filter. It worked really well for about 2 weeks. Then, it slowly quit filtering. We've owned these about 3 weeks. We will switch them to the opposite direction to see if back flushing helps.
If you do not have a high mineral content I think these might do well. But, for us, this just doesn't work.

This showerhead is perfect, very easy to install. I love it, as it removes all the chlorine and has multiple sprays.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jody Worked great until warrenty was up.
Remember you have 15 days to register the shower head with Sprint or you do not get a warranty. Home Depot only covers you for 90 days after that you have to take it to the manufacturer. And if you do not register your shower head you are out of luck. My shower head worked great until it just started to pour water out ,filter replacement ,now it only lasted 3 months. I brought a new filter and it did not work. It only lasted a little over 90 days. If you needed to register for the warranty the company should of put that information on the product. Right! WRONG.. What a shame I really liked it. Now I have a shower filter dose anybody need one? $10.00 its yours

My shower water must have a lot of chemicals. A week after I moved in, I started to notice my hair and skin feeling drier. The first day I had this in my shower I could smell the difference while my shower heated up. When I got in, I felt the difference on my skin...it was much softer. And as I washed my hair, I had to use less conditioner. It has now been only three weeks since I started using it and it has already stopped working. My hair is dry and dull and my skin is tight and itchy. I don't know if it a defective filter or a poor product. I have ordered a Culligan filtered shower head in hopes of more lasting benefits.

Couldn't be happier or more pleased with this showerhead, it's everything I'd hoped for and more and the price was well within my budget. Healthy living is a priority with me and this showerhead definitely fits the bill. The spray is amazing and the design is so modern I keep the shower curtain open so it can be seen. It adds a special touch to my bathroom and now I look forward to showering in water that is kind to my skin and hair and just better all-around. When chlorinated water gets on your skin the chlorine evaporates and you breathe in the fumes. The steam that collects in a bathroom when showering is also inhaled and it affects the respiratory system. Using a filtered showerhead is a much healthier way to shower.
