Can this be used outside to feed a 200 amp panel inside a manufactured home?

Do I need a 2" square D hub for the top of box going to make adapter 2" and 2" conduit to weatherhead

Asked by: DW
Yes, the panel comes with 2 flat plate covers on the top, you need to buy an adapter for the size conduit you are using. I used 3" for 3 strands of 2/0 Copper and 2" was tight !

I want to place 2 100 amp breakers 1 for house 1 for garage. Am I able to do this? If not, can you recommend 1 that will accommodate 2 100 amp breakers
Asked by: debbie
This unit has a built-in single 200amp breaker. For a Service entrance box having one main breaker is normal, I've never seen a split feed SE box. However, you could probably then install 2 separate 100 AMP breakers on the outlet bars and feed each of the garage and house separately. It depends on what you are feeding from this SE box, I'm assuming secondary breaker/distribution boxes for each of the garage and house. If that's the case I'd run the house off a passthru circuit and not put an additional breaker on it and then put in a 100amp breaker in the SE box and feed to another small distribution box in the garage.

Quality seems very good and no problems with running the new Service Entrance. All lugs worked well and secure. Includes options for tunnel pass-through and inbuilt pass-through lugs. On thing to note if running cables prior to getting this is that if using pass-through out the bottom that the lug for the neutral is near the top of the lower section of the box, both live phase lugs are near the bottom. There are also a couple of smallish holes in the bottom corners and a couple of slots that are big enough to allow those pesky mud dauber wasps in, so worth a bit of silicon to seal it up better after installation.

This product is a combined Meter panel, service entrance and main disconnect in one box. One box installation as opposed to 2 or 3 small boxes. I have this box apprx 1 month, and it provides all the functions the power company required. I would prefer copper instead of an aluminum interior.
