Looking for a generator interlocking kit

Im Looking for a generator interlocking kit for a SO2040VP Series MO1 but cant figure out the one I need
Asked by: uwireme
The codes you list look like Square D. If so, look at the right inside of your load center. There is a label there listing all the accessories for the unit. The proper kit no. is listed there.

Can it be used with Homeline HOMC20U100C Series S01 Type 1 Load Center?

Asked by: Vasyl
Not an expert, but your box looks like a 100 amp panel. This kit is designed to fit 150 amp to 225 amp panels. Look at the right inside of your box. There should be a label showing the kit number for your load center.

Sail Will this kit work with hmoc30uc series 01 panelR

Sail Will this kit work with hmoc30uc series 01 panelR
Asked by: Ralphie1
Ralphie1, thank you for your question. The part number, HOMC30UC is a cover and does not identify the load center you have. The HOMRBGK2C is compatible with any Series S2, S3 or S4 NEMA Type 3R (outdoor), convertible main, main breaker HOMELINE load center that utilizes a QOM2 frame main circuit breaker (150 - 225 ampere). It interlocks the QOM2 2-pole main circuit breaker with a back-fed HOM 2-pole (15-125 ampere) branch circuit breaker. A retaining means is also provided for the back-fed HOM branch breaker. I hope this helps. Schneider Electric Customer Care.

Homeline Outdoor Generator Inter-Lock Kit is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Installed perfectly and works great!! I was impressed with this kit as it came with a bracket that easily lines up the holes that have to be drilled in the dead front cover. I've installed a few interlock covers and this one by Squate D is by far the easiest I've installed. The buyers just need to be sure they are buying the correct version. Just check the breaker type and ensure you have two clear spaces on the top right of your branch circuits for the correct 2 pole breaker that feeds the panel while under generator power. Other than that this kit is a breeze.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Check your breaker box type Square D makes several breaker enclosure box types. They also make several interlock kit types to correspond with the different enclosure types. I purchased the wrong interlock kit and scratched my head for quite a while before realizing it was wrong. The markings on the box did not clearly indicate it's type. Only after going to the Square D web site was I able to correctly determine which interlock kit I needed. Otherwise it looks like a good item. Make sure you shut the main breaker before attempting this installation! You will be working very close to the hot buss bar...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quick and easy This is a better system than transfer box for a DIY install plus it is a tenth of the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Item is for 150 thru 225 amp homeline panels The listing for this product does not specify which breaker panels it works with. This one fits 150 through 225 amp main breaker panels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product does the job I was looking for a less expensive option to hook up a generator interlock or transfer switch. This product bolts onto the fuse box cover plate (after your drill 3 holes) and forces you to turn off the main before engaging the generator breaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Generator interlock kit Originally ordered this kit by mistake. Reordered the kit for an inside load center and it works as advertised. If you have a Square D load center, the kit no. for your unit is shown on a label on the inside of the right side of the box. A drill template is provided for mounting the interlock. I was able to install it in 15 minutes. Follow the directions and you shouldn't have a problem. Installation for the indoor and outdoor kits a the same. The parts are contoured for the different boxes.
