I have a QO11224L125GC load center and need a 40 amp 2pole breaker. Will i need QO240 or a home line series?

Asked by: Happyspark
From my understanding a home line series will not work or fit in a QO Panel. The QO240 looks like what you will need.

I need the dead panel to replace Interior Catalogue number QON 6x12-22 Series L4Will this dead panel work? Randy
Asked by: randy
Randy, thank you for your question. Unfortunately the new style covers or replacement parts will not fit on the older Series L4 panels. Wire bending rules have changed over the years and box sizes have changed as well. We do not offer replacement parts for the older L4 type panels. Sorry I was unable to help at this time. In the past, although of unquestionable quality, Square D wasn't often competitively priced. But this particular panel was a pleasant surprise. I needed to add a medium capacity sub-panel to an existing system that had Square D circuit breakers (and keep them interchangeable). The price was very reasonable, and the quality not compromised.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased with the flexibility I would recommend any Square D QO Panel. They are built to last and allow for flexibility when installing. There are a wide variety of knockouts big and small and can easily be mounted. Also have the ability to install tandem breakers if more circuits need to be added later on. This was to replace an existing outdated sub-panel in a condo. Met my expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from QO the way to go I prefer to have my electrical panels on the heavy duty side. The QO line offers that, but you do pay for it, making them not cost efficient. The choice is up to the home owner.
