Customer Reviews

QO 20 Amp Single-Pole Plug-On Neutral CAFCI Circuit Breaker is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb AFCI Breaker ... obviously, it is for PLUG-ON neutral type panels only I'm always annoyed when reviewers write negative reviews when the product is 100% outstanding and precisely as described; however, just because the purchaser fails to read the product description do they order the wrong product & are consequently unhappy & rate an item as "poor". I say this because on reviewer gives it a 1-star rating simply because this is a *PLUG-ON NEUTRAL* type breaker and not a "Pigtail" (neutral wire is coiled up and must be affixed to a neutral bus bar). The product description clearly states that this is what the item is so I'm dumbfounded how one would be unhappy with the item when it does not fit. Again, this "Plug-On Neutral" is only for Square D QO panels that also have a Plug-On Neutral connector. Seems pretty obvious to me. Anyway, this is a first rate breaker and is very easy to install. Obviously, the benefit is that because you do NOT have a pigtail neutral wire.....your electrical panel is consequently far less jumbled and filled with coiled up neutral wires strewn about.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MAKE SURE TO BUY THE CORRECT PANEL AND YOU WILL BE SATISFIED! Why give an excellent product a 1-star rating if it was your fault for not researching before you even buy it? If you are going to buy the right panel, you don't need to have 30-years experienced to install this circuit breaker, IMO even a caveman can do it. I am an all around DIY person/Maintenance Technician that is in the process of upgrading the electrical of my old house. A part of our county requirements in upgrading an electrical is to have an AFCI breaker installed for each leaving area in the house. Before I even applied for my permit, I already did a lot of researching and found that these are the easiest AFCI circuit breakers to install. Nice and neat, no need to have so many pigtails, which make your panel full of white wires. If you know how to install a regular circuit breaker, then you also know how to install these. I have a total of 31 of these breakers and they were all very easy to install. AVOID FRUSTRATION, MAKE SURE TO BUY THE CORRECT PANEL AND YOU WILL BE SATISFIED!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more neutral pigtales Faster, easier panel installations. Wish Square D/Schnieder would make a GFI and Arc fault combo

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware, this only fits in some QO panels not all! This breaker doesn't have the neutral pigtail. It only fits in some Square D QO panels not all. I have been an electrician for 30 years and will not let my employees buy these. We will only purchase the arc faults with the neutral pigtail because they will fit in all square D QO panels. In some of the QO panels you will have to relocate your breakers because it will only fit in certain spaces also.
