Product Overview

The Square D by Schneider Electric QO Qwik-Gard 20 Amp One-Pole GFCI Circuit Breaker is intended for protection of entire branch circuits where damp-location shock hazards may exist, providing overload and short-circuit protection of your electrical system. The ANSI-certified and UL-listed unit is rated for 120 VAC and 10,000 AIR. All QO circuit breakers are equipped with the exclusive Visi-Trip indicator. When a QO Visi-Trip circuit breaker trips, the handle snaps to a midpoint position between in OFF and in ON and a highly visible, red indicator easily identifies the tripped breaker. This enables you to easily distinguish which breaker has tripped in a load center that may contain up to 42 different circuit breakers. QO circuit breakers have features no other manufacturer can offer. They come in many different sizes and can meet the needs of virtually every function in your home or business. These types of quality, industry exclusive products keep the Square D brand ahead of the competition and are builders' and electrical contractors' first choice in electrical protection.

I look at the same rating 20A single pole DUAL action vs. this GFCI Qwik-Gard: should dual action be more expensive? I See the price for 'single' action (this Qwik-Guard) is $65 and dual is $45 at the same 20A rating? Why?

The light above the shower needs to be protected with gfci. I want to install this breaker in the panel box to cover that requirement. Do I also need to install a gfci outlet in the room or should normal 20 amp outlets be used? Thank you.

Customer Reviews

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Garage Application Used two 20 amp. breakers in a new wire garage application. One to power the garage door openers and one on the wall duplexes. A must use in high moisture areas. I trust the Schineder manufactured products, having used them for several years. Cost is a little higher. Electrical safety is well worth the money. I also like the ease of testing and the design. Installation was quick and efficient. June 15, 2016
