Asked by: Ann
Ann, Thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that we do not manufacture a matching, accompanying sidesplash for the 31 in. x 22 in. vanity top in white. Our best recommendation would be for you to consult with your local Home Depot Kitchen and Bath team for the sidesplash alternative options that best match your home décor. Best Regards.

Is the engineered material just a veneer on top of a core material or is it solid through the thickness of the top ?

Asked by: Gdillens
Gdillens, Thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that the St. Paul 31 in. Vanity Top in White is manufactured out of a material that is very similar to cultured marble. The typical construction of our vanity tops consist of the core material with the finish heated into the vanity top; the color/finish typically falls within 1/8 in. of the vanity top material. Now, what cultured marble is, is a product that is made up of a mixture of polyester resin, limestone dust, fillers, and pigments with a clear gel coat finish on top. Please rest assured that composite vanity tops are very durable and are the most common sink material used in bath applications today. Best Regards.

Is there an overflow hole?

Asked by: Jrt
Jrt, Thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that the basin does not have an overflow hole. As a leading manufacturer for baths sinks and vanity tops for the last 25 years, we have removed the overflow holes because it creates the opportunity for unwanted bacteria in the bathroom. Most overflows are designed so that they cannot be cleaned and, over time, will develop mold and mildew that usually will require the homeowner to change out their basin. With thousands of tops/sinks sold in the market today, our customers love not having the overflow/mildew issues. We can assure that all of our sinks are IAPMO Approved to meet or exceed the national plumbing code. Best Regards,
