Does this really look like stone, or is it kind of "plastic looking" like other composite tops I've seen?

I want a top for a white vanity for a bathroom, but have to place a special order which will not be returnable. It's so hard to tell what this will really look like without actually seeing it. I do not want something that looks "cheap".

I advise you to buy the chip first! I wish I had known before I ordered the "river rock" it has a lot of pink in it! It does not match my brown bathroom! waste of $400! :(

Answer:
Yes, looks a lot like marble(even has that stone type feel to it when you touch). My wife was skeptical at first but loves the look (the upgraded edge detail is great as well). It is a little thinner than the standard 3cm slabs used in real marble but most people wont know/be able to tell the difference.

Answer:
Qback, Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend you support the top on all 4 sides. This can be done while leaving the front open by using a frame at the top that is secured on three sides back and two sides with walls and side panel, thus leaving the front open but a frame at the top to support the vanity top. We also recommend looking at ADA compliant vanities Best Regards,

Answer:
CJ,
Thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that although the backsplash comes with the 37 in. Stone Effects vanity top, it is not pre-attached to the vanity top; the backsplash will have to be attached with a bead of silicon adhesive (sold separately) during installation.
Best Regards,

Stone Effects Customizer

This question is from 37 in. x 22 in. Stone Effects Vanity Top in Cascade

I'm going through the customizer and from what I can tell, I'm only changing the standard top 37x22 found on the Home Depot site Stone Effects Cascade for $326, to a special order with an 8" faucet spread, and it bumps the price to $469. Is this an error? That seems like quite a jump! Everything else is the same. And a 24"w x 17"d blank is $289?

Do you offer a banjo cut? If so, how do I get a quote for the combined dimensions above?

Answer:
Thanks for your interest in St. Paul Home Products sold exclusively through the Home Depot.
The price noted for the 8" is correct for a one off top ordered through the customizer.
We currenlty do not offer a banjo cut for any of our tops. The closest you can get is by offsetting the bowl with the customizer tool.
