Is this a combination lock, like what you would see off a locker? Or is it an electronic pad lock?

I would like a safe that is a dial combination lock, rather than an electronic pad. I would prefer a safe that has no electronics in it. Any advise or assistance would be most appreciated.

Thank you

Answer:
its a higher grade of lock than on a locker I went with combination rather than digital because most people said digital would fall off the front of the safe and were using the key

This safe has a combination lock device...it is not electric, and there is no way to change the combination which was disappointing but I can live with that.

24-Gun Fire Safe Combination Lock in Matte Hunter Green is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 49.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from I am dissatisfied I received my safe today and I must say, this thing is cheaply made and I am frustrated. For starters, the front door is loose, this is not good for a FIRE SAFE!! Secondly the shelves are cheap MDF with carpet only 3/4 the way around the shelf. The shelf rails on the left side are mis-aligned by 1/2 inch and I had to readjust the clips after trying to put a shelf in. The security bolts do not have their own holes, rather they sit behind a thin metal lip. Someone could pry the safe open in no time. That said the positives are the lock seems OK (It's not a sergeant greenfield). Save your money and buy another brand. This is a piece of cr@p.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm really happy with this. I really liked the idea of getting an old fashioned safe for my boyfriend for fathers day, I don't like the electronic ones, but its got enough room for all of the guns and then enough room for the ammo so the kids wont get into it. I will say, this thing was a pain in the toosh to get down the stairs but, if you use a dolly with a strap on it, it totally helps the moving process. I imagine Ill be getting a second one next year that way his are in one and mine are in another since we both have a problem with buying them. If you want a safe, thats not electronic, this one is worth looking into.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product.... with one note of frustration The product was solid as advertised at 418 lbs. It was not dented or scratched in transit. The only frustration was that the two red dots that mark where to drill into the floor plate for mounting to my slab foundation were not both accurately marked. One was 1/2" off. The instructions did not state that holes already existed on the safe's bottom plate, I thought I had to drill through steel to reach the slab. In hindsight, it would have been better to tilt it at 45 degrees onto the wall and drill up through the holes already drilled into the bottom. In any case, it is now securely mounted. I would purchase the product again and ignore the red dots....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value NOT A VAULT....nor was it advertised or priced as one! Is reasonably priced & will perform well for its purpose. It is heavy-plenty of room for our valued needs. Makes the Insurance people happy. Is protection for home invasion at an affordable price. Sadly ours came in black not hunter green.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 24 gun safe Great price. Safe is big and heavy-duty. Color is darker than online. The brass dial & handle give a classy look. Only bad thing is the shelving. The felt was just wrapped and stapled. I had to paint, glue and rewrap shelves. Also had to make more shelve. Only can with 4 & no clips for extra.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safe that gives peace of mind This safe is great value, I am able to store my valuable items and not worry about amature thieves or some fire. The quality is perfect for my apartment combination lock works great with minor caviat that the lever must be pulled to locked side for it to work properly. I love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from a little tweeking shelf brackets are right on one side and upside down on the other had to trim and re glue the felt on the inside the color on the outside is not a bright green its a dark almost black green all and after a little tweeking its a great safe

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Somewhat satisfied. Because I have had four other gun safes, I feel this is a good entry-level safe. The fit is OK, the combination lock is really rough. Very difficult to operate. The back locks are stationary, they do not move. At least on the one I have.
