This was exactly what I needed. I have the smaller version also, but this one holds everything. The dimensions are great for placement, and it was easy to set up. The two sections are keyed separately, so be advised, you will have two more keys. I put a colored sleeve/insert on one set so I could tell them apart. I would buy this again.

I am very pleased with my gun safe. I'm on here because I'm buying a second one. Yea, the keys are sticky like some other reviews. But I also realize it's a $400 gun safe, not a $4000 Rolls Royce of gun safes. It works great to securely separate your ammo and firearms, which is one of the main reasons I bought it. This safe is about function, no form, and it does everything it says it will. It's not unwieldy, as I can move it empty by myself. It fits right into my closet. Each cabinet has its own key, so one key can not open both the gun side and ammo side. I definitely recommend this safe to anyone on a budget looking for a secure way to store their guns and ammo.

This cabinet is not a gun fire/safe but is a secure gun cabinet as stated by stack-On. With the adjustable shelves I had plenty of room for my guns and 2 fire/safe file boxes.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by XOXO1XOXO Great Price (might be a little damaged)
Had it delivered to store to make it easier to refuse product if the box/packaging was damaged, the box was in pristine condition, strapped to a pallet and everything, Home Depot did a great job loading it in my truck. Brought it home took great care to get it in the basement, not a mark on the box. opened it up, packing material all in great shape, took off the plastic wrap and noticed the corner was damaged a wrinkled corner with paint chipping off :~(..... Just a blemish, but it still works as intended, and I'm not about to try and haul it out of my basement to take it back. Besides it's not Home Depot's fault, I imagine it was dinged up at the Stack On factory and then packaged up and shipped, as I said the box was in great shape, not a mark on it. Also considering the great price I paid it is about what one would pay for a blemished item compared to one in great shape. The picture makes it look a lot worse then it does in person.

Great gun cabinet. Large enough for storage of long guns on one side and pistols on the other. It's not a gun safe, only a lockable cabinet. No fire rating, but is suits my needs.

Two minor issues found, like other reviewers. (1) the screws that hold the plastic barrel rests against the backside of the cabinet are difficult to line up, even with 2 people. I used a nail to open the screw hole in the barrel rest so that a light would shine thru it. Person behind the cabinet shines a flashlight thru the hole in the cabinet, and I line up the barrel rest using the light. Once aligned, the person behind the cabinet gets the screw started. Repeat until all screws are started, the rest is easy. (2) I also found the keys were difficult to operate, but lubrication is not the answer. Problem is the keys have sharp edges. Use a wire brush (mine is mounted on an electric drill) to smooth the sharp edges, like they do when you get a spare key made. That, and some lubrication, made the locks operate much smoother. Overall love the paint job, and this cabinet will keep curious kids and adults away from firearms. A thief with a pry bar will have no trouble getting in, but that's not my main concern, and I don't want the hassle of buying and moving a real safe. I'd prefer both doors open using the same key, but oh well, you can't have everything.
