I have a .308, (2) AR-15, a 12-gauge, and a few pistols (different calibers) plus ammo, flack jacket and other important stuff, would it all fit?, and I want to put this safe in the master bedroom closet (upstairs), would it be too much weight to put in there?

The shelves are cut to fit from side-to-side, and there are no long gun barrel cut-outs, so, without extensive modifications by you, No, it's not set up to store rifles.

The safe comes inside a very sturdy corrugate box that's strapped to a small wooden pallet, and it's taken off of lift-gate truck with a "Pallet-Jack." There's no way that Pallet-Jack is going up even one step, to be completely frank.
Our delivery driver was very accommodating and, once he got the pallet-strapped safe inside our garage, he helped us remove the strapping, move the safe off of the pallet

Our delivery driver was very accommodating and, once he got the pallet-strapped safe inside our garage, he helped us remove the strapping, move the safe off of the pallet and took the pallet with him. It's 250 lbs of safe and pretty unwieldy in size. Would recommend a very sturdy two-wheeled dolly and tie-downs to strap the safe to the dolly (and 2-3 sturdy people) to move this thing (after you take it out of the box) around.

As I understand it from my research, fire-resistant safes have expanding insulation around the door that activates at high temps to make the interior "fire-safe" up to a certain temp for a given time. It is not a given, however, that this sealed door will keep all water out.

If you mount your safe to the floor, you also have to penetrate the bottom of the safe, which also allows a water path.
However, it's worth considering that the bottom shelf of the safe sits several inches off the floor, given the way the safe is constructed. I'm placing the most valuable contents on the upper shelves, for what it's worth.
Again, based on my research, as you move to both water and fire-resistance in a safe of this size, the cost goes up VERY quickly to $1,000+++. Read Less
