Total Defense 21 cu ft. 36 Gun Fire/Waterproof Electronic lock Safe with Door Storage-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some what Disapointed All of the flooring cover is loose made of low grade material and padding is permanently dented as if something was lying in the floor for a long period of time. Installation of the partition wall left residue all over the inside of the safe and I had to vacuum it out in its entirety. The front door cover is a thin metal sheet that gives to the touch. It serves my needs for the price and will probably stop someone from stealing the weapons. If I need to upgrade to a larger safe I would never again buy a Stack-On since the seeable craftsmanship is terrible and I do have doubts about protection from water or fire because of the craftsmanship. Hopefully I will never have to find out if it stands up or fails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great safe for the money! I bought this to replace a non fireproof Stack on safe that I had for about 4 years prior. The main reason I went with Stack On again is because of the back up key. I wanted an electronic lock, but certainly do not trust other safes if the lock or electronics fail. All of your stuff is locked up and you gotta have somebody come to your house to drill it. On my older Stack On I would open it between 10-20 times a day everyday for over 4 years. It never ever had any issues with the electronic lock. Worked like a charm every time. That reliability, the 2 back up keys, and the price is what finally sold me on it again. Each half of the interior is about 15.5" wide, from the side wall to the center divider. It does come with 6 shelves, however I found one so far that was cut too wide to fit. I had to take a blade widths off with the table saw to get it to drop into place. Also the carpeting job done on each shelf is sort of junk. It's glued on the bottom, then stretched over the top and glued on the other side bottom. When the door is locked up, there seems to be a lot of wiggle back and forth with the 5 spoke handle. It gives the impression of being cheap. The lock is powered by one 9 volt battery which is supplied. The 6 shelves in side are held down by 2 clamps so they won't be bouncing around if you tip the safe. I had to flip it on it's top to get it through the door. It comes with 4 round steel pegs as feet so you can use a pallet jack on it. If you use an 11/16 inch wrench you can tighten them up and use them as handles to help move it around before removing them. This thing is very heavy. I was able to get it from the front sidewalk into position with just 2 people, but it took some time and some PVC pipe to roll it along the floor. The outer body is quite slippery and there is nothing to grab onto except those round peg legs that it ships with. They can be removed from outside the safe, on the bottom, but the bolts holding them in are very greasy. I have installed 3 of the Stack On LED motion sensor light inside. They definitely help because it can get real dark towards the back of the safe. When the safe arrives it has a nasty smell inside of it. It may be helpful to leave it open for several days at first. I didn't get the chance to do so and mine still smells after 4 days. Oh and this safe does not have a bolt detent, so be very careful about closing the door if the bolts are extended. The bolts are supposed to 1.5 inch thick steel, but they seem to be junk. I wouldn't be surprised if they would bend if you closed the door on them. The top door bolt and maybe the bottom will be the first ones to hit. The entire outer surface including the door is magnetic, should you want to decorate it with magnets. The door panel holsters it comes with are next to useless for guns. Too small and not strong enough. The large pocket at the bottom and the other 3 zippered bags are nice though. If you remove all the holsters there is plenty of room to add your own velcro items in place. Overall it's a real good safe and it provides more interior storage space than I though it would be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall great safe...for the price This is a decent safe and well worth the price. Obviously it is not a $3,000 Fort Knox safe, but it serves its purpose. I would recommend this if you have a $1000 budget. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Delivery was quick and effortless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent safe for the price.. Great safe for under $1K, does exactly what it's suppose to do! I'm sure there's better safes out there, but for the money this one will definitely do. Very happy with my purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I lilke the safe, room for my guns and plenty of storage The safe fits my needs however I find the door storage feature almost useless. Handguns are not secure in the provided "holsters" and anything stored in the door is up against the shelves and wont allow the door to close.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great safe for the price, we saved over $600 over other competiors. The safe is exactly what we wanted and more. The price was great, beat the others by $600.00. The safe itself was an excellent safe for what we are going to use it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for this price This safe is everything it claims to be. It is a good solid safe that will keep guns and valuables protected. Mine arrived in perfect condition and looks and performs perfectly. It is not the top of the line safe, however it is more than enough safe for the average home or business. Yes there was a little dust in the bottom on arrival..... I don't see that as a big deal at all. (took 5 mins to vacuum it out.) You would need to spend a lot more money to get any safe better than this one. This is all just my thoughts of course. Carl

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Was somewhat disappointed The product interior was very substandard. The carpet on the inside was loose and didn't fit in some areas. The shelving brackets on one side were not lined up causing shelves to sit crooked. The electronic pad is a little crooked. I would recommend spending the extra money for a higher quality safe.
