Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great quality This thickness was perfect when using it with my Cap a Tread laminate stairs. They cut well with a table saw. The primer paint is quite thick. Nothing transparent about it. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product, it was thicker than what I wanted Great product and time saver for putting in new stairs August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent riser I am capping the stairs and chose to purchase these risers instead of just making my own. I was pleased with the overall quality of them as there were few defects in the material and the defects that were there were minimal. The planks were not warped or deformed and they were primed on both sides. There is definitely a front and back as the primer is more consistent and smoother on one side. It would be nice if shims either came with boards or was at least offered as I have seen for other riser replacements. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy Risers Great quality risers and already primed. Really made the job easy. February 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Quality Boards were primed and easy to use. Used them for stair risers. April 7, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good quality, wish they were higher Good quality wood, no warping, easy to work with. My only complain is the riser is too low. It is cut exactly for the standard stair height, mine happened to be just a tad higher - which created a lot of extra work for me to cut and attach spacers. So measure your stairs before buying. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for painted risers Perfect for installing oak treads with painted risers. Will hold up better than 1/4" plywood! July 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ready to go Risers These boards worked well. Some had some small blemishes on them, but they are only primer-ed. So a quick patch before painting will fix that easy enough. May 6, 2014
