For installation, I should do the same thing as another guy did, who cut a piece of wood fit across a 3 stud, using it to hold the black backing plastic... but I couldn't my saw at the time although I have a lot of wood pieces in garage. (why people need to have wood or saw to install this thing?)
The provided screw + wall hanging anchor is a joke, it won't hold the backing to the drywall unless you find the stub. (If you have wood wall, it should be ok). The black backing plastic is soft using bad material, be careful don't damage it when screwing.
I should return it to Homedepot. Too late, I have damaged some part of it during my installation.
BTW, it holds some small light stuff only.

Loved the idea of this, but I the bins kept falling off the back. I suspect it's because the backing wasn't rigid enough and was only screwed into the wall in six places, so otherwise pulled away. Because I couldn't rely on the bins not crashing down, I returned it. Bins are otherwise well-made, but I think the back plastic needs to be thicker/more rigid.

I cut a piece of 1/2" plywood to fit across a 3 stud width in the garage and had the plywood and parts bins mounted in @30 minutes. It was nothing complicated. Then in a matter of 10-15 minutes I had all the loose hardware(screws, nuts, nails, etc) sorted out and put away. Now when I have a project I can look at the hardware I have and know if I NEED to make a trip to get something. That's opposed to going to get the stuff new each time and then finding I already had what I needed a few days later.
