Low lying tree branches will hit the top of the plastic base. How far from the end of the tree trunk do the branches need to be in order to not hit the top of the plastic base? What is the minimum distance?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE the Standtastic! We bought ours two years ago (the commercial size) for a 25 foot tree in our home. It was easy to use and kept our tree perfectly straight from Thanksgiving through New Years! I especially like how we can easily slide the 4 side bars to adjust the tree easily. We've found it hard to find a stand that will work for larger tree This product has held up and will see another use this year. We have 4 kids under 8 and our 1 year old regularly pulled on the tree, lights, branches etc.--we did not anchor the tree to the wall or anything and I never had a worry about it falling. Very sturdy. August 16, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A good stand for large trees Stand had a small crack that leaked water. The only stand that I could find for large tree. January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Christmas Tree Stand Ever! This treestand is very well designed for stability and ease of use. It has everything you'd want for your live Christmas Tree and even supplies the screws to attach it to your tree. I put my tree up in the stand in about 15 minutes and it took one simple adjustment to make it perfectly straight. It was simple and easy. The base is large and makes it very stable. There's plenty of space for water and it is easy to fill. At the end of the season, you simply unscrew three screwss and the tree comes out. You can store everything in the base and it is ready for next year's tree. I love this one! December 24, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Can't knock the tree down with this one! This is the first year that my tree was not able to be knocked-over by my cats! Very strong and stable. It performed exactly as stated but was not easy to use. It took my husband and I several attempts and cut a few bottom branches to get it in the stand correctly, but when we were done it was perfect. I'd buy this again. January 21, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not very easy to use Due to the various branches on the trees, it was very difficult to screw into the tree evenly. It took a lot of hard work to manuver and lifting the tree to set it properly. You need at least 3 people. I was missing screws so I had to run out which annoyed me. Otherwise it did the trick and the the tree stood upright without any additional help. December 27, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not buy this It took an handyman an hour to get the tree into this stand then while trying to out the star on top it fell over. Returning it today. Ordered a fake tree after this debacle. January 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tree stand exceeded my expectations Saw the tree stand on Youtube and researched it to find that it was sold at The Home Depot. The product is all as described and is, thus far, the best tree stand I have ever used. Very easy set up and the tree ends up being super stable and non-moving. This is my new tree stand. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 100% satisfied Got one last year. Great for natural trees. easy to get tree straight when screws inserted in trunk. braces let it slide easily. lots of space for water. It actually would hold a much larger tree than we had. August 8, 2012
