Customer Reviews

20 in. Saw is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This isn't your grandpa's old saw. Went through a 4x4 in just seconds. I can't say if it will hold up to the tests of time but brand new this thing rocks. I would recommend buying this, the 20" and not shorter version. Cuts are a little rough, but just go over them with some sand paper and you will have a very clean look. So if you don't have the money to buy a power Tool or are working where you don't want a bunch of dust in the air this saw is what your looking for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good hand saw for the money. I just started getting into "hand tool only" woodworking after years of power tools. Chris Schwarz (woodworking guru) highly recommends this saw for beginner hand tool woodworking, as real quality panel hand saws run $200+. The blade chews through the work, leaving a path of destruction through crosscuts. Handle is uncomfortable. Great jobsite saw!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent This saw gives an excellent cut be it cross cut or ripping. As for cutting wood 50% faster than conventional saws, I haven't timed it, but it does cut fast and the teeth stay clean. If you are looking for a great hand saw I would highly recommend this 20 in Stanley.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hand saw It is a good saw. I have never had a bad Stanley product. I got the 20 inch one because my local store was out of the longer version.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Stanley saw worked beautifully for home repair projects that I needed to accomplish over the holidays. I completed my projects in record time because the saw was small, efficient and the teeth were engineered better than my old fashioned saw.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 20" hand saw Was in the process of moving and needed a inexpensive saw while my tools were all packed in storage during the move. Cut some 2 x 8 pressure treated boards really well.
