What are the yellow things for that came with the sawhorses?

Asked by: Meg
Thanks JDM for the part # for these V grooves. I have used a rubber mallet to attach these to the sawhorse. I like that they are a tight fit as plastic will expand over time and become loose.

How do you adjust the height?

Asked by: Ricardo
Hi All, Mine look slightly different than what's pictured. Mine have yellow triangular tabs to set at each height, 30-37" After much fiddling, here's what I found: 1) Close the horse before attempting to adjust. 2) Pop out the yellow tabs. I took mine out completely, with a bit of prying with a strong putty knife. 3) Raise to slightly above the desired height. 4) Open the horse. 5) Push down so the backside ledge settles. (Fiddle slightly with the height until it opens fully.) 6) Insert the tabs at the newly set height. They pop in by hand.

I use these mostly for interior work and painting because they wont scratch floors. I don't use them for a bench I use them for what they are best for ,painting, finish work and trimming doors. Don't use them in cold weather because plastic doesn't hold up in the cold. Not rugged enough for framing. Great for do it yourselfers. They have some great features. Height and width works great. Don't use for P.T. or heavy lumber. Ive had mine over 10 years and love them. I have 2 sets in my shop.

The sawhorses are heavy plastic with multiple adjustments which provide convenience for do-it-yourself work. I question how these would stand up over time to daily use but for occasional use, they work just fine. I typically lay a door slab across two sawhorses as an outside work table. They stand up well to the weight of large portable tools, such as a 10" sliding miter saw, while working off the door slab. I've used one set of sawhorses on several dozen occasions for four years and they are still in good shape. In my experience, the folding platform near the bottom of the legs has separated from the leg a couple of times and is not particularly easy to re-attach, and the feet tend to drop out of the bottom of the legs occasionally. These are not substantial problems but may indicate the quality of the sawhorse as an moderate-use tool and not a heavy-use tool. I have purchased these as gifts so I do recommend them within their limitations.

These saw horses are good for DIY; they have an adjustable height and they have width extensions. I did find that they tended to slide when using a skill saw to cut a board; however, a cinder block on the lower shelf solved that problem. Over all a good product, has been very useful and will fold up for easy storage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid product If you are looking for a dependable and easy to use sawhorse this is a very versatile choice. I have 4 of them now and use them in many application. Quality and adjustability is very good and feel solid when standing. Only negative is that they seem to be a little expensive for a sawhorse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sawhorse Good quality and decent price. My only small gripe is it comes with attachments to hold round or square stock that you slide on ends but you only get one pair of them and no way to attach them to the sawhorse for storage

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More value than I thought The Flexibility of this adjustable sawhorse was more than I expected, It met all my needs, allowing me to cut, not only wood, but PVC piping with the clamps. Best purchase I've made all year.
