Rated 5 out of 5Â by ajmm Great! I think I like these over both wood and steel sawhorses.
After spending hours researching the best portable sawhorses I was pretty much set on getting folding steel sawhorses. But then I was given these as a gift. I must say that I am VERY impressed. I'm not looking for a sawhorse to beat the snot out of, but rather a portable, durable, sturdy, and functional pair that are easier to use than the bulky wood ones I keep outside (and hate moving around!).
Most recently I've been using the sawhorses to support plywood for an improvised work surface. I've also used it to refinish a reclaimed barn beam. Having the height adjustment has made the tedious job of chiseling and sanding a 13ft 8x8" solid oak beam much more enjoyable. The strength is still there too! I figure the beam is about 200# and I tested the sawhorses by hopping up (I'm 200#) so 400# total and they still felt sturdy. Excellent strength and functionality.
They don't open up super far, but they're quite stable in my opinion, just as stable as my wood ones. Plus they're easy to set up and take down. Finally, they're lightweight. I can easily haul both of them in one arm up/down stairs and for longer treks around the yard (this was a weakness of the steel ones, being heavy and harder to haul/set up/take down).
The only cons are that I have to be careful with rip cuts now as I don't want saw blade marks in the plastic (with wood sawhorses you can just cut a little into the wood) but I couldn't do that with steel either, so it's an acceptable compromise. Also they came with these little brackets for holding work along the length of the sawhorse like a pipe or 2x4 and I wasn't able to get them on because they were too tight. I may try shaving off some of the inside when I find I need them.
Overall the price is a little higher than some other plastic sawhorses, but they really are better.

For years I've been using my truck's tailgate or setting items on blocks of wood to raise off ground. New project required cutting beadboard and I wanted to do a good job. After reading reviews I decided these were pricey but the best. Reviewers were right. These are awesome. I got them home and discovered extra features likes arms extending to 4' and adapters for cutting pipe. I can envision using these a lot now. Easy to fold up and store. Solid construction. Oh yeah, I put down 2 2x4's to brace the flexible beadboard and it made cutting easy. Think my tailgate is relieved I won't be using it to cut things anymore.

Basic item, did what I needed. Easy to adjust, strong enough to hold a heavy slap of wood

These plastic sawhorses are very handy. They are adjustable for height, making them comfortable work stands for tedious jobs, like sanding doors before painting. They set up easily and also collapse easily with only one hand required to accomplish the task.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by mntdrew as advertised, adjustable sawhorses
the sawhorses are easy to adust and use. support a great amount of weight. each has a small rubberized pads on the top, which help with large sheets from slipping around. It also makes using the sawhorses as a site table top easier. the only issue they do not have a V notch or cut out for single pieces of lumber. they do come with a piece taht is supposed to accomplish this. the ones i have didn't fit very well, much to tight to even get on the horse.
the max height of 37 inches makes a nice height to work on. good set overall. good value for the money.
