By itself, it is extremely light because it is all plastic and light aluminum. And because of that, it is also not very durable for regular/daily use.

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 137 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great mobile workshop Sturdy and easy to open and close. The only thing I would like a bit different is the rolling handle. It is sturdy but wobbles a bit. Not to the point of breaking but just wobbly . Still..best of its class May 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love this tool box I am using this box in an unusual and relatively unorthodox way - it is our camping kitchen and will be used for a long distance road/camping trip across the US and into Canada and then south of the US border into Mexico and Central America. The bottom storage bin will house pots and pans as well as plates, etc., the middle compartment is housing spices and other ingredients as well as everyday cutlery, and the top area is housing aluminum foil, plastic wrap, towels, etc. which the removable compartment for and tools is being used for utensils. The box is a sturdy, perfectly proportioned and very convenient way to store our camping kitchen needs (minus the raw materials for cooking) and was "tried out" on a camping trip a couple of weeks ago to great success. Even filled, it is not too heavy to life into the truck and we are looking forward to months and years of use! May 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It's a band box for us My wife bought it for me to put all my tools in but it got taken over and used in my band. I have mic cables (16 20ft, 3 50ft and a few 25-30), 2 ISO-TEL outlet boxes and gaffe tape in the bottom with still a little room. Middles handled the power cords, extra instrument cables, a few speaker cables for amp to cabs, and a few patch cables. The top holes tools for repairs, 6 10 ft cables, speciality cables like 4 20 ft TRS cables, tape and some odds and ends. It's great to grab one box out of the trailer that has all this. If we need a snake, it's keep on the trailer as we don't use them much. I think it's well worth it for that we use it for as it replaces several other boxes. July 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for a Camping "Chuck Box". I bought the FatMax box for my husband and loaded it with everything he needs for a camp kitchen "Chuck Box" to take when he is out hunting/camping. It worked perfectly to fill the top with knives, silverware and kitchen gadgets, under the lift-out went the paper products. In the divided section went everything smaller like spices, sunscreen, bug spray, dish soap, can coozies, deck of cards & Farkel (with pen & paper), matches, first aid kit and a small toolbox... In the larger compartment we put, pots, pans, paper towels, quart & gallon bags, foil, cooking oil & spray, coffee & pot, cutting board, pot holders, cleaner and lysol wipes and much more... It could not hold the single burner camp stove, but it would fit if we didn't have so much other stuff we wanted to include. It has worked perfectly and turned out to be much better than we had hoped. LOVE IT! October 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Scrapping and Card making I bought this tool box because a couple of my scrapbooking friends had one and they carried all of their main supplies, for scrapping in it. They absolutely love it. It opens up and you have access to all your supplies. How awesome is that?! It was such a neat idea, I had to have One also. Now I have my main supplies in mine and wheel it around where ever I want, to sit and craft. Only down fall is the handle is not as sturdy as it needs to be. Would not recommend for any thing really heavy April 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dad's forget the Tools, Ladies this is a Scrapbooker's Dream Forget using this as a tool box, ladies, this incredible tote makes a great scrapbook cart that you can use at home or at a weekend retreat. It fits your 12x12 items in the bottom along with big tools, the middle holds supplies, embellishments, and smaller tools. The top section holds your assorted glues, tapes, rulers, stencils, chalks, etc and your lift out tray is good for your "always go to" hand tools, markers, small embellishments, You can fit a lot of product in this baby! March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tough as nails Durable and easy to maneuver. Filled this tool box up with everything I have and it does a great job. February 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect I use this to store inventory for my business. My upline uses two of these for hers as well! Everything stays organized and it's easy to load and unload when I'm going places. I will be buying a second one soon. February 23, 2016
