It's a great mechanics tool set. I've used it a lot on my cars and others cars too. Lot's of wheel bearings, sway bar links, oil changes, power steering pump, taking tires off and on, throttle body cleaning, etc. I could go on and on. Never broken anything. Then again, I don't stand on my ratchets or use non impact sockets on an impact wrench like some people do. I like the good assortment of 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" sockets. It's far from complete, but it's portable, decently priced and high quality. It isn't Snap-On quality but it can take some use and abuse. I really like how the ratchets are normal, unlike some Craftsman ones that need a special tool to disassemble them. These just need a small torx wrench and they can be easily lubricated and cleaned. Just don't lose any of the pieces!!! The only thing I didn't like is on one socket it has chrome plating that flaked off but for some reason others that I've used heavily haven't flaked or anything. It's no big deal though as I wipe a light coat of oil on them when storing them. I am satisfied and I highly recommend them. Thanks for reading.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad for the price You actually get a lot of tools for the price, but the problem that I have with these sockets is that they don't fit snug around the bolts. There is a bit to much play in them which actually makes it a pain to get a good grip on things. The other thing that bothers me is the hard plastic case. The sockets always fall out of their dedicated holding area, so when you open it up, be careful not to drop the sockets all over the floor.

Only complaint is that I am looking forward to being able to buy "American made" products again and the direction changing lever on the ratchets are plastic. All in all, a good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price on a really nice tool set for the average person Was actually surprised when I looked at this tool set after ordering it online. Makes a really nice set for the average person for home or automotive use. I carry a cheap tool set in my vehicle for emergency use. But comparing this set to some craftsman ratchets and sockets and wrenches I found it very hard to notice any difference in the quality. And grabbing the ratchets without looking I couldn't tell the difference. Probably saved at least $100 on a comparable craftsman set. I highly recommend them for the average person. The only problem I found was a few of the sockets wouldn't snap into the case and stay put. Which is a very minor problem. My craftsman set is no better. It's the same way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had This Set For Years For the average DIYer, this is an excellent kit. Comes with pretty much every socket size you'll need for most jobs, and a large enough selection that any odd sizes you need down the line can just be purchased separately. If you need more wrench sizes, you can always buy the Stanley satin-finish set that gives you a healthy range for all of $20 or so, and widen your allen key selection with the Husky set for another 20-25. But as it stands this makes for a great kit to build from. My only gripe is the latches on the case not being friendly to repeated use, this is solved with a proper tool box or chest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT VALUE MOST ACTUAL TOOLS IVE EVER SEEN IN A BOX SET BEFORE. MOST WILL STATE A 201 PIECE AND 199 OF THEM ARE THOSE ODD SCREWDRIVER BITS THAT NEVER GET USED, NOT SO IN THIS CASE. YES THERE ARE SCREWDRIVER BITS BUT THE BULK OF THIS SET IS SOCKETS AND RATCHETS. FOR THE PRICE IT CANT BE BEAT. LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE STANLEY PRODUCT, SO NO WORRIES THERE EITHER. THE ONLY THING IS THAT THE SIZES MARKED ON THE SOCKETS ARE SMALL, BUT IVE BEEN WORKING WITH HAND TOOLS ALL MY LIFE SO I CAN PRETTY MUCH LOOK AT A BOLT OR SOCKET AND KNOW THE SIZE TO GRAB.
