These are the best utility knives I've found. The previous ones we used had to have a screwdriver to perform a blade change, so you never seemed to have a sharp blade. This condition led to me being cut unnecessarily and spending the afternoon in the ER getting stitches. Blade changes are now tool-less and quick, ensuring you always have a safe, sharp blade.

I use utility knives for a lot of home projects. The ones I've had on hand have typically been made of lightweight plastic, and I have gotten used to using quite a bit of muscle to make the kinds of cuts I need, especially when it comes to drywall, fiberboard, and the like. I was so pleasantly surprised when I first used my new Quick Change knives. The base is made of metal - definitely heavier than plastic but not too heavy - and feels so much sturdier. I did not think it would have any effect on cutting but it definitely has. I don't have to make 2nd and 3rd passes to cut through materials as I have before, which saves me time and frustration, and reduces hand and arm fatigue. I definitely recommend this little gem!

I have been using Stanley quick change knives for many years now. I was first introduced to them when I worked in the RV manufacturing industry. This knife was a MUST have. Everyday use, countless drops to the ground and some of these knives lasted me upwards of a year. Normal everyday use will see a lifetime! Every home should have one of these.

Purchased set of two and its great. I used husky usually but these work just as great because you can store 3 more blades in the housing which makes it easy for changing on the go.
