Bought this after reading the reviews and fighting with an old Swingline staple gun that kept jamming, misfiring, and doing a really bad job attaching aluminum screen to soft wood for screened porch (not to mention how HARD it was to squeeze/operate). The Stanley has gone through nearly 1200 staples and hasn't missed a beat! Super easy to operate, smooth firing and does the job with little effort. Great gun for women, small hands or not great hand strength. The model I purchased doesn't have the Hi/Lo switch, but I doubt it would make me love it any more. Best $15 I've spent in some time!

this is a great product for crafting and light duty. This is my second one. I over-abused the one I had putting insulation. I use for crafts, for upholstery, for many things and it holds up. The different sizes of staples gives versatility.

This staple gun is really sturdy and easy to use. I was able to complete my project in less than 30 minutes. I stapled fake grass on a board with casters for my niece's Disney Princess Castle (to make it easy for her to move around).

This product was purchased after trying the electric stapler by Stanley and a more generic one after that that came with a case. I had hoped the electric would work as well as a pneumatic stapler so my arthritis in my hands would not be affected so much while installing 6mil plastic around my chicken run to winterize it. Unfortunately the electric staplers are terrible unless you are just stapling into cardboard. The old fashioned but improved upon stapler by Stanley was not as hard on the wrist as ones I remember from 20-30 years ago and it still buried the staples into 2x4's. I gave it a 4 because it misfires pretty often and I would have to work with it. I was in a hurry and did not lubricate it as I normally would so if lubricated it could possibly solve that problem.

I had an electric stapler from HF and it was terrible. Tried the Dewalt thinking that all my Dewalt tools are excellent but nope that mis-fired and jammed too often. Tried the cheaper Stanley and that wasn't any good either and not enough power. This one is excellent! Handles my 1/2 staples no problem! Did a basement installing installation and worked like a charm.
Also, the loading of staples is so easy compared to other brands. The push mechanism doesn't come out so you don't eventually end up losing it, and whole size staple "bundles" fit in so you don't have to break the staples apart to fit them in.
Glad I bought it!

Nice light weight. If it holds up as well as most Stanley products I will be very happy.

Used the stapler to reupholstered some bar stools. Very dependable. Never jammed and had few missed staples. Would highly recommend this product for the home handyman projects.

What a waste of money. Stopped working after about 100 staples. It will shoot every tenth staple - if at all. Very frustrating if you are on the ladder trying to install the moisture barrier on the ceiling.
