Rated 4 out of 5 by Very Good Product I got this jointer about three weeks ago. I just started using it because the jointer needed to be put together and the instructions for doing so were not very good. The pictures in the manual were very hard to see any detail so it just took extra time to make sure everything went together correctly. When I turned it on the first time the motor started however the belt would not turn the cutter. I removed the cover which covers the belt and then tried it again, it worked fine. I am unable to move the motor enough that the belt will not rub against the cover so I am running it without the cover. I ran several boards through it and this works well with the exception of the end which snipes a bit for an uneven ending. Cannot seem to correct this problem yet. I have not used it enough yet to give a full review. February 25, 2014
