Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brownie Excellent quality - extremely happy
I was very impressed with the shipping package. It was screwed into the pallets - not stapled - and very well protected. It is as beautiful now that it is installed as it was in the ad. It took 2 carpenters, 8 hours, to remove the old door and sidelight unit and install the new one. They did an excellent job! very satisfied.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by leeki Excellent value and quality, but don't be in a hurry!
I am very pleased with this door. It arrived in good condition, well-packaged from the manufacturer. I'm pretty handy with small jobs around the house, but I wisely chose a professional to install this unit. This is not a job for a weekend warrior. There's lots of nuances to installing a door properly, as I watched and found out. It took him and his partner a full day to install, and came back a week later after the door had settled in to finish the trim and painting.
The door took 4 weeks from the time of the order to arrive at my house. It was no faster to ship to store which is 20 miles away and a lot easier than picking it up and bringing it home. Worth the $99 delivery fee. All in all, this was about a $1250 door project including labor, trim and hardware.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Donn A low cost, average value entry door unit
This unit served our needs. It is fairly low cost and is a close replacement to what we had.
There were a few minor wood splits that were caused during its delivery from Texas to Pennsylvania. Between the sections are thin pieces of wood molding that are affixed to the unit with small staples and are used to cover the gaps. I noticed ta gap when one piece of molding came loose during the installation and revealed it. The molding is not secured well with the staples and looks bad. I plan on removing the staples from the molding, add caulk in the gaps and reattach the moding, using the caulk as an adhesive..

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by rootim Not enough info
I say not enough info, because after receiving my new door in the fine print was the missing info from the Home Depot description. This was that installing a storm door to this unit voided the warranty. The door is made in such a fashion that to install a storm door would require adding some wood in areas for the frame of the storm door to mount. I found this to be a whole lot of disappointment after receiving my door. Now just what the heck am I supposed to do about this situation?
Except for that huge problem I find the door to be good.
Yes I would recommend the product but I would hope the description would include al the details so the customer would not be as disappointed as I was.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LSNerd Great door great price
I was looking at doors that cost 2-3 times what this one cost and after doing some comparisons decided that I could always change the door later if I want a different style. Delivery was on schedule but be aware they will not deliver inside! The door fit perfectly and is as solid as you could ask for. This is the third door I've done so the install was pretty quick. Glad I went with this one.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SuperDave Excellent value and quality
Delivered right to our driveway on the day it was specified, and in a very sturdy wood crate. It took us more time to remove the old entry door and trim than it took to install the new unit. A snap to level and finish, and the price was a fraction of what we could get at the other big stores. Don't know what else I could ask for! Thanks.
