DOOR WAS VERY BEAUTIFUL & APPEARED TO BE GOOD QUALITY. DISAPPOINTED TO HAVE TO RETURN BECAUSE OF DAMAGE! SHIPPING WAS LATE, BUT DAMAGE WAS NOT DUE TO SHIPPING. LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE FILLED IN A LARGE KNOT WITH BLACK FILLER. UNACCEPTABLE, REFUSED DELIVERY, WAITING FOR REPLACEMENT WITH FINGERS CROSSED!

Expected some knots and superficial cracks because of the type of wood. However, instead of staining and sealing with the rest of the door, every imperfection was filled with a black epoxy/filler that looked horrible. Had the first door returned, second door was much better. Only one large knot has been filled. will remove epoxy and fix myself.

The door arrived quickly and was packaged VERY securely. The color is a little darker than shown on the website. However, it is a little better color for us so that was not an issue. The door itself is really nice and of very good quality. The molding is not solid or good quality. For the price, it is a great door.

The door looks great, some minor complaint about the methods used to fill the knots though. There is some sort of plastic looking goop they filled the holes with that would be ok if they hadn't spilled it out of the knot holes as well. Looked like someone rushed the job. Tried to scrape some off from the outside of the knot only to find they had stained the door after applying so below the goop is lighter colored. Glass looks really great and the door swings nice, smooth and level. Home Depot service was excellent, helped resolve all my problems and were quick with refunds. Non-Stop Delivery (used by Home Depot) was a nightmare. Called my house at 5 AM to tell me the door would be delivered the next day. Tracking on their site was a joke, their service agent did not even understand that the manufacturer sent the product to them, and claimed that NSD had been refused at the door of the manufacturer, false. HD cleared that one up though. NSD then post dated all my shipping tracking information to make it look like they were in the right. Also the poor delivery guy they sent by himself to unload a 100 lb door, although nice as he could be, needed my help. Fortunately I was able but for $99 shipping it was un-excusable.
