Answer:
Absolutely!
Just make sure to apply a caulking to the bottom layer behind the sink (Recommended around the border of the entire project). This way it will create a vapour barrier and not let water behind the tile.

Answer:
The best way to remove the tiles, will be to reactivate the adhesive using a heat source. We recommend a hair dryer.
Start with a corner. Once heated, you can begin peeling the tile back. It will likely remove some paint, but they will come off.

Mirrors are a fantastic surface for the tiles. Creating a border around mirrors is a brilliant project and will certainly change the look!

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by colossal fail looks pretty and would have been a great alternative to a time sensitive renovation where we didn't have the extra two days needed to rip out the old tile and retile a new kitchen backsplash-IF this product had a decent adhesive that worked properly. it started peeling within hours and sticks out like a sore thumb next to the rest of the work that was done in this kitchen. Its also misrepresented inside the package as "smart tile" when you call the customer service number inside the package. This is mac-tac tile that a six year old should be able to install with no problem but simply does not stick, even after washing the pre existing flat square tile it was installed over with tsp twice, a kitchen degreaser once, then soapy water and finally a water rinse just to be thorough. $350 waste of material and my client does not want to pay me for what should have been the easiest part of a whole kitchen renovation. total waste of money all around and this product should be removed from your shelves. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not stick! Was so excited to find this product! Looking for a do,it yourself backsplash for my kitchen. Was not too difficult to install once you got going. Looked great when it was finished, although close up you could tell it wasn't high quality. After a few days I started to see the edges and tabs start to pop off the wall. And I started to try to push them back on. Almost daily would wake up to new pops. I bought some gorilla super glue and started gluing. It has been four months since the install and getting new pops almost every day. I want to take these off the wall! Such poor quality! Spent almost $200 at Home Depot! What an expensive mistake. Not sure where all these good reviews came from. November 30, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't stick well Bought these and put them up. Individual sections continue to pop up. May 17, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT BUY I thought these were made by "Smart Tiles" These DO NOT stick, the adhesive is the worst.I would throw these away but I need them for finalizing my bathroom .I have bought Smart Tiles which stick like crazy.I have to get Gorilla Glue and put some on these tiles so they stick. Dont waste your money.. December 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to apply and looks great Wanted a good looking backsplash but didn't have the skill to put up tile and grout. Took the chance with this product because of the price (wouldn't loose much if they didn't work out) and the good reviews. Product has real glass tile look and everyone seeing them in photos (facebook) and in real life has not suspected they were not the real thing. Really makes the kitchen look great. Only small issue is that the small ends sometimes sticks up. However I have tacked them down with glue and they are holding. Go for it. December 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Good but doesn't stick so great It looks fantastic that is true! The process to put on also pretty easy. The stick factor NOT GOOD! We didn't even pull on and readjust and the stick was just not there...they started popping up pretty quickly. We left the house went back later and they were pretty much all coming off...we had to buy adhesive and glue them in place. Too bad because they market that NO GLUE is needed. I still love them and had they just fessed up that glue is needed it would have been fine. February 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stickers did not stick The stickers look really good, but there should be more guidance on how to make them stick. I had to superglue them all to the wall, since the stickers didn't stick more than a day or two. All the stickers just came off, even though I cleaned the surface first. There must be some sort of trick to getting them to stick. Also, it's very difficult to get them straight. Maybe there is some sort of way of guiding a person to get it right, because evidently either my countertop is not 100% square, or I just was not able to get the right angle consistently. I did like the ease of use. I enjoyed using the stickers. They look like real tiles and I got compliments from people. December 10, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by an inexpensive update I needed an inexpensive update for a kitchen backsplash. The tiles were fairly easy to put up, just needed to make sure to prep, measure and cut accurately. I used spray adhesive in spots where it didn't stick well. They don't readjust well and lose their stickiness if you touch the backs or try to readjust too much. Several people have seen the kitchen and commented on how good it looks. Great for small areas but definitely not a high end product for long term wear. These have been up in a small kitchen for about two months and some places need to be stuck back down regularly. I haven't tried any other adhesive to keep them secure. Getting them to stick in irregular corners is difficult. September 2, 2014
