Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ldarr Why do they make the large tanks when they have these?
We bought our 3 bdrm, 2 bathroom condo about 6 months ago with a very small kitchen with little cabinet space. i don't understand why more people don't have these! We never run out of hot water or have an issue with having enough.

The product was easy to install and provided some satisfaction but, I really thought it would serve my needs and it didn't and I was surprised. However, I believe if a tech would contact the purchaser prior to shipment from where it is stored to discuss the item and what the purpose of use is and the location it will be much better to find out if another item with better qualities is best or if one with less qualities and cost would be satisfactory and serve the consumer best.

Had this replace my previous tankless electric hot water heater, it is working like a champ. It takes a plumer an electrician to install it but luckily I knew a guy that does both. But even then the installation is very easy. The unit works well the water flow is affected a little but in my condo the water pressure is not that great.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by star Good for small water consumption, not a whole house heater
I purchased Tempra20 a couple of years ago and I have had a problem figure it out how to adjust the water flow to a comfortable level. During the summer hot days there not much of the problem since the water temperature difference is not great, during the winter cold days and nights the unit is definitelly not a whole house unit. The water connection is 3/4" and when you open the bathroom faucet the unit is struggling to deliver hot water. I reduced the water temp to 44 deg.C and turned the outlet valve down until the blinking light stopped to blink. The water coming out of the faucet was so low that is less than a gallon per minute. This is not a whole house unit, it is good maybe for a kitchen sink, but not for a bathroom.
Advantage is a small wall mounted unit, saves a lot of space, but performance not as advertised.

Compact, designed in stages to match power demands to water flow rate. Simple, clean design.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cabin Compact, heats water quickly
I did the installation myself with average skill & tools. The required heavy gauge wires are expensive, so add that in to your total cost. Also, check to see how many (1-3) SEPARATE electrical circuits are required for the chosen heater. This one heats water quickly; the shower is 10ft away and it takes about 10 seconds for the hot water to start flowing. Have not tried multiple hot water devices (shower, dishwasher) at the same time.

I was cramped for space in my utility/laundry room. I removed my old gas hot water tank that was 15 years old and due for replacement. I had explored my options. Home Depot. com always had the answer and many choices. Easy install with the proper pex, and electrical tools (knowledge in these fields is a MUST). The Origin, Made in Germany says it all. They have been making energy saving products for nearly 90 years. Great Product!!!!
