Answer:
Generally, if you have a 150 service then the largest Tempra unit you could install would be the Tempra 20 Plus which can draw up to 80 amps of current. It would require 2 separate 220-240 volt circuits that would be wired separately back to you electric panel.

Answer:
Tempra 24 Plus requires not one but 2 x 220-240 V circuits, each drawing a max of 50 amps for the 100 amp total. General rule is not to go much over half of the entire service. So, if you have a 150 amp service then the largest unit would be the Tempra 20 Plus, 2 circuits x 40 amps each for total of 80 amps max draw.

Answer:
Im not a Electrician with that said I run mine Tempra 24 on 2 40Amp breakers, and its more than enough. but if I was running a 4 bath with showers and a washing machine ... like it can handle you will need a bigger breaker is all. but it will do it. It gets hot so use a vented area and I recommend a scale and hard water deposit and filter system with this product, its a little touchy.

Answer:
The Tempra 24 Plus requires 2 separate 240 V circuits, connected via 2 separate double pole 60 amp breakers and 2 separate runs of 6 AWG copper wire. You only need a ground wire (6 AWG too) on first circuit. Also, you don't need any neutral wires as each is a separate 240 V circuit.

Answer:
For the Tempra 24 Plus you need two separate runs of 6 AWG copper wire, i.e. 6/2. Each is a 240V circuit and therefore no neutrals required. 5th wire is the ground wire on the 1rst circuit. Breakers would be 2 double poles 60 amp 240 V.

Answer:
Probably not more than is needed. It depends on where you are located and how cold your incoming water is in the winter. Also, the Tempra 24 Plus can draw up to 100 amps. Your electric supply must be a min 200 amp service and you should have an electrician do a review of other connected electrical devices.

Answer:
Depends on what state you are in and the incoming water temp in the winter and the flow rate on your shower head. Check the temp rise vs. gpm flow charts and assume 110 degree output temp. In a warmer climate the Tempra 24 Plus might be a little overkill. However, the main requirement for this unit is that you have a minimum 200 amp service to support the 100 amp max possible draw.

Answer:
Outside of any local code considerations there is no reason you can't install this in a manufactured home. In addition to endless hot water you will also gain back a lot of space your tank water heater occupies now.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Did not last 5 years so value and quality poor The unit worked well until it broke and will not come on now. It was bought from home depot. Overall if it breaks prior to 5 years as this one did that is not a good product for this price. October 12, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tankless water heater Great product.... Endless hotwater.. BestthingI've done!!!!!!! August 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best hot water heater I own I purchased this for my cabin . The heater output surprised me with how consistent the temp is. I just needed to run a hot water line to the shower. If the sink is run at the same time or water used while in the shower it still put out the same temp. With the small size it takes up you gain lot of storage space. In my case a hole closet. The unit is built in a sturdy metal box, It makes no noise at all. May 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good whole house unit This larger unit took the place of a point of use unit I mistakenly had put in, based on many positive reviews of people using it for the entire house. The smaller unit didn't deliver the hot water I was used to getting with two hot water tanks. I had it replaced and this unit professionally installed. The electrician and the contractor were impressed with this unit, and so was I when I got the hot water I have come to expect. The contractor was impressed that the unit is German-made, rated for a 2 bathroom home in a cooler climate, and designed for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. What's not to like about that? I'm very pleased with my purchase, which should handle any hot water needs I have for years to come. October 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Water Heater Our home was built2 years ago and we used 2 Rheem tank less water heaters. They never kept up the demand especially in the winter. We bought the stiebel and it's perfect for our home. No lapse in heat and easy installation. The stiebel is worth double its cost and we would recommend it to anybody. May 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Purchase Ever The hardest part with Installation is running the new power wires. But unless you are an electrician you should probably hire one to run the wires anyway. I just bought this new one for my mother. I have had this in my house for 2 years and it has paid for itself in that time with saved electricity money. If you have well water, install an inline filter before the water inlet to keep your heater working great. April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product! I was worried that this unit would be underpowered, but it's not. I wanted the larger Tempra 29 model, but I only have 200 AMP service coming into my home, so I had to "settle" on the Tempra 24. I put "settle" in quotes, because I really didn't have to settle at all. The Tempra 24 performs great, heats up quickly and runs flawlessly. It's more than enough water flow for a single person to take a hot shower with great water pressure and flow and for someone else to be using hot water to wash their hands, etc., in another bathroom. It will support two people taking hot showers at the same time, but the water flow to both showers is decreased by about 40% ... but still usable for a shower. All in all, I highly recommend this product! I'm very happy with it. Best of all, with two daughters in the house who have decided they love to take "hour showers", there is finally hot water left for me! May 6, 2014
