Customer Questions & Answers

Looking for a good all around hammer. Can this be used for demolition work too? Thanks

Asked by: SteveKoz
Ours is tough and we have used it for everything. The finish might wear off, but it is made to work.

is the handle replaceable?

If it breaks can I stick a wood or another poly/fg handle on it?
Asked by: TXREXMC
You will have a rough time breaking the handle. I don't think it is replaceable but I would be surprised that it needed to be.

14 oz. Titanium Milled Face Hammer with 16 in. Curved Poly/FG Handle is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great all around hammer I have used a 14oz wooden handle stiletto hammer for quite a while now, but have been through countless handles. I used the lightweight Dewalt for the last couple years, but there is something to be said for the stiletto. Will never ever use a heavy framing hammer again, not worth it. The only benefit to a heavy hammer is moving around beams, etc. I have a sledge for that. The stiletto does the trick for everything else, just be careful of your co-workers helping you lose it. If you want a budget friendly, lightweight hammer go with the Dewalt, if you want a really nice one, stiletto is second to none. Also, you can't hang a junk hammer out of your occidentals...lol

Rated 4 out of 5 by from North Side Hammer I built a few decks with it; a table top and some saw horses too.I haven't framed with it yet but it has a nice swing, and hits firm. I wasn't expecting to like the grip but I do, little to no fatigue! It has a magnet on the head. Some shards tend to collect on it, no biggie...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Longtime Stiletto Fan Long time fan of the Tibone hammers. I was never a fan of the fiberglass handled hammers. Not just Stiletto's but any brand's fiberglass. Well my TiBone grew legs and ran away if you catch my meaning, so i was looking around for a quick buy. I was lucky enough to see a couple of these at my Neshaminy, PA store. I've been abusing it for about a month, and I can tell you it extremely well made. If you don't believe titanium hits like a 28oz steel, your nuts. I can easily sink a 16d in 3 strikes., maybe less if i use the magnetic nail setter. I like the new grip, but it took some getting used to over my old curved handle TiBone that closely resembled a hatched. If you are a believer that you get what you pay for, pick one of these up. i will still use that other "blue" hammer for demo though!
