Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Longtime Stiletto Fan Long time fan of the Tibone hammers. I was never a fan of the fiberglass handled hammers. Not just Stiletto's but any brand's fiberglass. Well my TiBone grew legs and ran away if you catch my meaning, so i was looking around for a quick buy. I was lucky enough to see a couple of these at my Neshaminy, PA store. I've been abusing it for about a month, and I can tell you it extremely well made. If you don't believe titanium hits like a 28oz steel, your nuts. I can easily sink a 16d in 3 strikes., maybe less if i use the magnetic nail setter. I like the new grip, but it took some getting used to over my old curved handle TiBone that closely resembled a hatched. If you are a believer that you get what you pay for, pick one of these up. i will still use that other "blue" hammer for demo though! August 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by North Side Hammer I built a few decks with it; a table top and some saw horses too.I haven't framed with it yet but it has a nice swing, and hits firm. I wasn't expecting to like the grip but I do, little to no fatigue! It has a magnet on the head. Some shards tend to collect on it, no biggie... October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Light, Great Shape, Nice Magnet OVERALL: Excellent balance, comfortable handle with nice thumb rest. Magnet and slot are well placed for quick driving nails. Transfers force very well, can swing this hammer a lot longer without fatigue. MATERIALS: Titanium is one of the strongest lightweight metals. The rubber handle coating gives a great grip with no slips. DRIVE: Long shaft gives excellent power, balances out the lighter weight nicely. Very large head keeps misses to a minimum as well. Bend in shaft helps transfer the swings power forward well. June 26, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I really wanted to like this hammer I have a 14 oz Stiletto hammer with a wood handle and love it. The titanium head and wood handle really take the bounce and vibration/shock out of the hammer. The light weight is also a plus. I wanted to switch to this hammer for the durability of the poly/fg handle. Just happened to see two on the shelf at my local HD and thought I would give it a try. The fit and finish on the hammer are great. The problem for me was that the poly/fg handle negated the benefits that the stiletto are know for compared to my wood handle model. The hammer felt heavier and testing the wood vs poly/fg hammers side by side there was a noticeable increase in the shock/vibration with the poly/fg hammer. That being said I will stick to the wood handle model. January 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by space-age hammer I like this framing hammer and I really think the quality materials are neat. That said, this probably isn't for a beginner, a weekender, or any tradesman that gets their tools stolen constantly simply because you don't want to buy something simple for a premium price and either not use it to its fullest extent or lose it immediately. I do however really like the ease of striking with less weight and the handle itself is great to hold, and easy to grip. This is coming from a guy who is used to beating the tar out of a traditional 28oz rip hammer with a smooth face and a straight hickory handle until the handle shatters, and then buying a new handle and wedging it myself. If you want a great framing hammer with bragging rights, this should fit the bill. July 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beefy! This hammer is not made for sissies. Good weight, good design, and should be impossible to damage. We don't just pound nails 'round here. We beat on stuff. This hammer is made to work and the handle is easy on the hands. Recommend! August 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very versatile tool Have used the stiletto hammers for many years. Have never worn one out July 22, 2014
