Category (5) 5 gal. White Exterior Wood Quick Dry Oil Primer is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best primer I've ever used I could not get a solid stain to adhere to my deck. I figured I needed to prime it before using a better stain (of which I also chose a Storm System product - amazing stain I have to say!). This primer was amazing. Our wood deck was old and had really seen better days. This product gave us excellent adhesion and filled in all the imperfections of the old wood. After using Storm stain on the deck to complete the project, it was overall the perfect application. There was no peeling and our deck looks brand new. I am so happy and impressed. I will recommend this to everyone I know!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product! I have cedar siding on my house. The previous owner decided to paint it several years ago, and now there are stains on the surface. it is also peeling badly in other areas. A painting contractor told me it was coming through the paint from behind the surface. Something he called tannin bleed....I guess it occurs naturally in the wood. Well; we used the product over the surface to prime it, and it completely blocked the bleeding. The finish he put over it (Storm CAT 4) made it look like new. Product is a little pricey, but well worth the $$
