Answer:
I wouldn't trust it for a food trailer. You should have a hood, with an automatic fire suppression system installed, as well as a K type extinguisher.
Even a small deep fryer has a lot of oil and grills can be hotter than a stove top.

Answer:
The efficacy of a fire extinguisher under water is still the subject of strong debate. On the one hand, you very rarely see fire under water. This could be due to the properties intrinsic to both fire and water, or it could be that fire extinguishers are just that effective. On the other hand, when you do see fire under water, it's extremely hot (underwater welding).

Went to FireStop website and there is no mention of toxicity. It may be because they have not been able to prove it is not? See their claim about not being UL listed.

Answer:
A UL certification is usually found in electronic products, not something like this. Nothing can be absolutely safe but in this listing it is described as no -toxic.

Answer:
I would think the quick way of fixing this issue would be to attach a metal plate to something above the stove. This way you aren't modifying the can and if there was ever an accident, the can be quickly replaced, and cleaned up.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wonderful product Thanks is wonderful product, save my furniture and tools. July 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convienent Purchase It was nice to be able to purchase this product in a small quantity. All other vendors required you to purchase a 10 can quantity all of which would have had the same expiration date. Being able to purchase from Home Depot ensures that we will be able to fill our needs when they arise. We purchase our original canisters 6 years ago as a sample and thankfully never had a fire that caused them to discharge but it was nice knowing that they were there just in case. October 24, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A neat product that I hope is never used I have watched online videos from TV news stations that tested these and it looked promising. I hope we never put them to the test. September 30, 2014
