Customer Questions & Answers

Does this come in a can that you can shake the seed out from?

Does this come in a can that you can shake the seed out from?
Asked by: Hunterofwa
Hi Hunterofwa! The vendor recommends that the White Clover Seed be spread with a broadcast spreader to insure uniform coverage. Spreading the seed by hand is not recommended but if you must, mix the seed with some kind of organic matter in order to insure even coverage. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot!

Will deer or elk eat this?

Asked by: Di
I was wondering the same thing! It says in the description that it can be used in pastures and grows up to ten inches. This is the same type of white clover that companies use in food plot mixes, the only difference is it isn't a mix so it may not create a consistent supply of forage throughout the season. I am planning on using this in a small backwoods food plot I am making. You can check out my blog: and see how it works out. The disadvantage of this product is that it is only a pound so it won't cover much ground. I post an update sometime of how to plot turns out.

Is this a seed blend or just white clover?

Looking for white clover for a Shamrock project. I don't want something else sprouting up with the clover leaves.
