Customer Questions & Answers

Will deer or elk eat this?

Asked by: Di
I was wondering the same thing! It says in the description that it can be used in pastures and grows up to ten inches. This is the same type of white clover that companies use in food plot mixes, the only difference is it isn't a mix so it may not create a consistent supply of forage throughout the season. I am planning on using this in a small backwoods food plot I am making. You can check out my blog: hunterofwa.blogspot.com and see how it works out. The disadvantage of this product is that it is only a pound so it won't cover much ground. I post an update sometime of how to plot turns out.

Is this a seed blend or just white clover?

Looking for white clover for a Shamrock project. I don't want something else sprouting up with the clover leaves.

It contains only 50% seed, rest is inert material. Together it weighs 1lb. This sticker is on the bottom of the can. This makes the seed not as good as deal as it appears.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it Using the white clover as a cover crop to keep the dirt from flying around when it gets windy. And it's doing great. Just like it said started conning up in 7 to 10 days. 3 wells later starting to fill in nicely from the seeds that were covered to deep (by bad not the seed) i reduced watering after two week and it looks great

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Germination Good Coverage I have heavy clay soil that is tough to grow grass on. I decided to try something drought tolerant, low maintenance and more useful that grass and weeds. I sowed this clover a few days ago. I basically sprinkled the seed on the surface and kept it watered. Im amazed at the germination of this clover. I applied it thinner than the directions, but, it is covering the space well. I cant wait until it matures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this seed! I was looking for something to plant on the side of my home that gets mostly shade. It's along a driveway that leads to the back of my home. I am so happy I found this seed! I sprinkled it over the dirt, mixed it in a bit then watered. Within a week, I had gorgeous bright green clovers growing! Everyone has nothing but nice things to say on how nice it looks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Product I've gone through 5+ cans of this stuff and each can yields excellent germination. I've been using it primarily for erosion control for areas that collect water after rain or irrigation. Our soil is tough clay and I wanted something that could break it up a bit. Without fail, anywhere I sprinkle this stuff and keep watered, I have lush bunches of beautiful clover. I'm going to pick up a couple more cans today.
